Lanzhou Puyue Hotel Reviews

We booked and payed for a deluxe room and received a far smaller and inferior room. We questioned this and we’re told it was a deluxe room. This wasn’t true as we saw one across the corridor. The room was very small with shower over the toilet and floor very slippery. They did provide flip flops to try and alleviate this. All the bathroom fittings were rusty. The bed was atrocious with springs pushing into your body no matter how you tried to sleep. There is no security with open access straight off the street to elevators and then your room. The only thing that worked well was the aircon.

Room is very small as the hotel is actually is an apartment unit converted into a hotel accommodation with 3 unit bedrooms.Good for solo, friends or couple travellers not recommended for famillies.Room is really really small.Only location wise is very good cos it's just next to the MRT station where you can take to the different shopping malls.

*If you are going to Lanzhou …* … this is the hotel to stay especially if you are an independent traveller! Even before arrival we reached out to Li and she promptly promised to send a car to meet us upon arrival at Langzhouxi. The Tumendun metro station is right in front of the hotel. So is the bus stop which serves buses running to several Lanzhou attractions. Aside from the obvious locational advantages the thing that strikes me most is the warmth and hospitality of the family running the place. Everyone from father, mother, 2 sons to DIL was eager to help with any questions that we might have. We couldn’t believe how patient they were in providing invaluable insights for the benefit of the tourist. The room and bathroom were kept clean. Hot and cold water were readily available as well as a kettle. We are grateful and would like to thank the whole family for treating us like family during our short stay here!

Decent location (close to the old street), basic rooms but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It's close to 兰州西站 about 10 minutes by walk. OK

Only one metro station from the train station. We didn't find it at first, because the GPS location is not correct. The hosts are friendly. The room was a bit old and the bathroom small. Good for one night.

Not far from west train station. Simple room but clean. Nice value.

There is a place to eat on the opposite sidewalk. Turn left and keep going. There are several food stalls. There are many people eating barbecue.

The room has a strong smell, especially the bathroom is too small and dirty. The sheets are dirty. It is not safe, especially in a residential building.

The train arrived very late, and the boss on the train started calling to pick us up, and waited at the exit early. The pick-up was also the reason for choosing this hotel. The hotel is located in a residential building, and there are many restaurants across the street to choose from. There are subway and bus stations not far away, and the museum is 1 stop away, which is very convenient.

The boss and his family are very enthusiastic, the service is very thoughtful, the environment is very clean, the surrounding commercial facilities are very complete, it is very convenient to eat and drink, it is less than 50 meters away from Didi Tumendun Station, and it takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Lanzhou West Station. I support the store to do better and better! It's really great, I will come again next time
