"Hands down ..The best value for money accomodation I have stayed at in SE Asia.
We stayed 1 night for our train trip to Hanoi. If I hadn’t paid for the train I would have stayed longer. Best location and excellent room with every facility you could want.

"A perfectly nice hotel for a short stay in the city. The location is central, close to several restaurants and the environment was quiet at night. We had a good sleep! The people at the reception are very friendly and helpful. Recommended!"
"Pros: The building is pretty, the boss is friendly, in front of the hostel in the morning
You can eat at 20,000 Binmi, there is win mart right in front of the hostel
Cons: The location is bad (stop at Laokai bus station), the bedding smells not good, there are stains, the towel smells, the smell of cigarettes in the room."
"I went to Lao Cai and Sapa over the weekend and saw a Hilton TRU hotel in Lao Cai, so I decided to try it. It's similar to Marriott's Moxy and IHG's Ganner. The room was a good size, clean, and had a laundry room with a dryer and a gym. A lady at the front desk spoke English and Mandarin and was very helpful. Breakfast was simple but filling. Overall, I recommend it five stars.
Tips: Go downstairs, cross the street, and you can wait for the bus to Sapa at the bridge. Just wave and the bus will stop. It costs 40,000 VND directly to Sapa. I tested it and it works. Stand where I saw the bus in picture 7 and flag it down if you see ”Sapa” written on it."
"The location is good. It's by the Red River and it's strategically located less than 1km away from the Chinese-Vietnamese border. There're many convenience stores, restaurants, and coffee shops which make it very convenient.
The room is spacious and clean. The staff, although not very proficient in English, did try their best to communicate with me.
The limited breakfast options is the only ”wish could be better” for me but this is more than made up for by just how cheap their room rates are!
As a business traveler, this hotel goes on my list of preferred vendors."
"I made a reservation for one day because it is right next to the Chinese border. The facilities are clean and the balcony view is good. There is a local market a little further down. The cafe in front of the hotel also has a nice feel. The TV has Netflix and YouTube. It was a hot day. I stayed comfortably. Recommended. Grab is good to go to Lao Cai Station, but I didn't use it. If you go to the market, there are auto riders. You can just grab their hand signals. ww"
"Generally hotel standard is below the standard of a 4 star hotel
Location is not very good and quite far from the town centre about 30 minutes walk
HOTEL room is very big for single occupancy
Hotel amenities were in quite bad. The swimming pool is closed and the bar is closed as well.
Rooms were clean.
Service is satisfactory and the reception does not speak English."
"The location was fine in the middle of the town, though we had to walk a few minutes to find restaurants.
The biggest disappointment was the buffet breakfast. It only had noodle soup and bread. Most food trays had nothing. The hotel staff said there were only 10 guests so they didn't prepare most breakfast dishes. Some hostels' breakfast could be better than this 4 star hotel.
The bathroom had no bathtub which was fine, but the whole place got wet after shower as water leaked from the shower area to the toilet and everywhere.
The room smelled quite a bit when we first walked in and the AC system was partially locked so we couldn't change the AC mode.
The only positive was the hotel staff was friendly and let us check in early for free."
"The location was near china and we could go over for a short visit.
The front desk was helpful to all our queries and request. They tended to our needs and request.
Room was kept clean and the view was quite nice."
"This is the hotel used for traveling to Laokai-Hekou border. Satisfaction was the best in all aspects of price, cleanliness and service!"

Good
Ddlo_music_I enjoyed this hotel, I wished the shower was more warm but it wasn’t cold. Reception was friendly and helpful. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. I had a motorcycle rental and they had a covered garage so that was a bonus!
