Real Boutique hotel in the heart of Larnaka, just 100m from the sea front. Nice rooms, with the amenities you need, mini-bar, safe, bathroom robes, hair dryer, coffee tray, 32" LCD TV (although the selection of foreign channels is quite limited). Breakfast is rich and served in a buffet, and you can ask for eggs as you like. The dining room is located at the 6th floor, so you can have a view of the sea, if you sit in the right side. View from the room is urban, and not something to write home about. You have a small balcony overlooking the city, with a coffee table and two chairs. Service is good and smiley. Only two snags are the inability to choose the air conditioning in the room to either cool or warm. It was set to warm, which was too hot for me, but I couldn't change it. The second snag is that you can't control the lights from the bed. If you forgot a light on, you'd have to get out of bed to turn it off.

Great little hotel just set behind the beach and promenade and a stones throw away from the main square, municipal market and shopping street. Reception staff are super warm and welcoming and helpful with your requests / questions. The room is nice and spacious, clean, with a fridge and coffee facilities refilled daily. Bathroom also clean with shower gel fixed to the walls. We had a shower in the bath rather than a walk in shower but ok for our short stay. Towels changed daily. Breakfast is plentiful, from cold cuts and cheeses to eggs made to order, cereals and sweet & savoury pastries. Plenty of choice and a lovely girl working the breakfast hall. Swimming pool on the roof and lots of sunbeds but bring your own beach towel and drinks as it was all closed (probably out of season). And we must give a recommendation to a local restaurant suggested to us by the reception staff at The Josephine and it’s just a 5 minute walk away (2 blocks) … if you want traditional cuisine go to Stou Roushia.

The noise from the streets and floors is unbelievable—it’s extremely hard to sleep. I was moved to a “quieter” room, but unfortunately, it was even worse. If you’re staying here, definitely try to request a room facing away from the street.

Great Hotel and close to beach unfortunately ongoing roadworks outside very noisy and dirty also early morning starts at 530am did not help once works are complete would recommend
