San Remo Hotel

Absolutely crap! Save yourself monies and Do Not stay at this hotel. First time staying there and will never ever stay there again. Information on hotel is incorrect first thing when I got to the hotel early hours of the morning there was no toilet paper & no towels there’s a poster on the wall offering breakfast, lunch & dinner I went down to reception to let staff know that there wasn’t any toilet paper or towels I ordered a coffee for €2 at the bar they gave a Nescafé sachet & sugar I asked for milk they said no milk, I asked about breakfast they said we don’t have food here but our sister hotel does when asked where & who was sister hotel they said pay €15 and we will disclose sister hotel so I refused to pay for breakfast at €15 a day and not know what I’m getting or where the sister hotel was. There was pipes sticking out of wall In room the bathroom door was 3 inches short from the frame the bath taps were rusty & so was the shower head & hose. Early morning the cleaners are banging on your door asking if you want your room cleaned I went out to get breakfast the useless maintenance men sprayed my door handle with WD40 and didn’t say anything I’ve gone to open my hotel room door my hands slid off at WD40 went all over my dress I went back downstairs to reception and asked why ? they said the door was sticking that’s why they sprayed. At night there was cats in the corridor meowing and fighting there’s no phone in the rooms so you can’t call to tell staff. The staff had no control over the guests drunk man shouting breaking glasses running down corridor banging on doors late at night going onto 2am

Hi, good hotel for the money. Polite service staff for cleaning, bar, canteen. I advise to install hair drier in all rooms

I was quickly checked into my deluxe double room on the third floor, room 319 which I specifically requested for on my booking, as I have previously stayed in that room before ! Which has three single beds and a great sea view and a working smart TV and a mini fridge, as well as a good sized terrace ! I would highly recommend you see for yourself when you're visiting Larnaca Cyprus.

It was a truly disaster. The rooms are old, broken, dirty and you will find cockroaches, but the main point is: they obligate you to leave the key every time you leave the hotel, however, we had a very bad situation, once the reception guy took our key and when we returned, he gave us a key from another room. They barely have cameras on the floors and we also had something around 20k euros in filming equipments. The hotel is clear saying they are not responsible for things left or stolen in the rooms, but they don’t have safe box, and they let the employees to have a lack of security giving people the wrong key. We asked the receptionist to call a manager when we realized he gave the wrong key, but he didnt call the manager, also, when earguiiung, he said that: its my fault because I should have realized that the key given was not ours. In any moment he apologizes for the lack of security, only attacking us back. All the staff is indian, they barely speak English, sometimes it’s very hard to get understood by them. So please, keep in mind that there are many other good options around, even in front of this hotel. If you dont want your holidays ruined, run away from san remo.
