I felt the pictures were selling a great place, it was a great place, but rooms are a little old. A lot of room for improvements. My stay was good. The staff is amazing and they took good care of us, the pool and bar areas are like new. Beach is few steps away from the rooms.
I didn't like the area outside of the Hotel. No security, dark, bad roads.
I would come back, definitely.

For the money, this is a great value but don't expect the same property is a $600 per night resort. Breakfast was good. Somewhat lacking in staff, service and maintenance. Beach is gorgeous. Get a oceanfront room if at all possible. We will stay here again if in the area.

The beach is heavenly and the restaurant is great, very tasty food! However, the hotel left a lot to be desired! The colonial villa is not maintained, broken, dirty cupboards, few kitchen utensils, not even a coffee strainer! Furthermore, what was most disappointing was the terrible service from an employee at breakfast, I repeat, terrible!
