Always good to relax for a day away

The floors needed to be shampooed. The hotel hallways smelled like cigarettes. The sheets and towels were uncomfortable. The shower head was worse than a best western. There wasn’t a coffee maker. The tv was large and new but wasn’t a smart TV to access any streaming services. And there wasn’t any room service or a booklet with hotel and restaurant info. For the price, I expected more. I could have payed the same price for a better hotel. It served its purpose though.

Tired, tired, tired. There's nothing luxurious about this gigantic ******. Staff was bored and distant throughout. Bed was a torture device and the bathroom needed refurbishing. But running out of hot water while in the shower was the final straw.
The only bright note was the steakhouse and the breakfast restaurant. Hostesses in both were a joke (empty restaurant and a reply of "let me see if I can squeeze you in" were (in both restaurants) followed by nice food with good service - go figure?

Room was not completely cleaned. Dirty towel and half eaten sandwich was left from previous guest.
