We stayed at the Shangri-la after a week of being in Tibet. It was a nice change from the more Chinese style hotels we had stayed in and was ideal for the night before our flight out. The rooms are great and we booked one with a bath. The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast buffet was, by Chinese standards, decent for western options and the evening buffer was good for approx 200rmb/person if you're in need of more western options. The big plus for me was the gym. Decent by most hotel standards and had a good mix of resistance machines, cardio and free weights (mainly dumbbells of up to 20kg plus a pair of 27.5kg). The only thing missing from the gym really is a squat rack but otherwise very good. Would stay again.

The first five hours after arriving in Lhasa, there was no high fever. Thinking about it, the high fever was just like that. When the high fever came after five hours, it was very uncomfortable. Fortunately, the hotel had oxygen that saved my life, otherwise I would have had a headache at night and couldn't sleep at all. The hotel has convenient transportation, the Bu Palace and Jokhang Temple are nearby, and the lively streets are downstairs. There is floor heating and oxygen supply, no smell, and fruits are delivered every day. Once again, the service is very good. Xiao Zhuo, Dan Cheng, Qu Zhen, and Xiao An, whatever is missing will be made up for. One morning when I couldn't find scissors, the housekeeper got up in the middle of the night to help me find scissors. Thank you so much! Zezhuo, who serves the room, has to give a thumbs up. The sanitary service is top-notch and he folded our clothes for us. Such good service is worth a stay. It is recommended that the room's oxygen filling be communicated with the company and the frequency of oxygen replenishment be higher.

This hotel is really suitable for self-driving travel! This is my third trip to Tibet alone. I actually have no clear travel plan. I just want to find a hotel in Lhasa where I can sleep comfortably. I have stayed at their Potala Palace View Hotel before, and this time I want to try their self-driving hotel to prepare for future self-driving trips. What attracted me the most was the breakfast service in this hotel, which was served until 1pm, which was the main reason why I chose them. Because when I came to Lhasa this time, I just wanted to celebrate the New Year here alone and enjoy a leisurely life. Choosing a good hotel is so important. I hope that I can wake up naturally every day and have delicious food waiting for me when I wake up. I made up my mind to stay for five nights, and it turned out that my choice was right. As soon as I entered the room, the waiter told me that I could drink as much as I wanted from the drinks in the refrigerator. If there was not enough, they would add more for free. I basically slept until noon before having breakfast, then went back to the room to tidy up, and then went to the old town to hang out in the sun. It was so pleasant! What surprised me even more was that the hotel also sent fruits, snacks and dried fruit platters in the evening, which was so thoughtful! The environment of the hotel is also very good. I won't go into details about the other details one by one. All in all, I am very satisfied with this stay!

The old Tibetan-style hotels, standard Samsung hotels, doors and windows and other facilities are somewhat outdated, and some iron stairs will be installed in the later expansion, and the hardware generally meets the Samsung standard. There is no elevator. The service is very good, the waiters are warm and polite, and take the initiative to help carry luggage upstairs. There are not too many parking spaces, and the car keys are handed over to the security guards who will park and move the car without passengers worrying about it. The location is very good, I will choose next time I come to Lhasa.

The hotel is located on Jiangsu Road, close to the Lhasa Evening News, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. The location is excellent. The hotel is in good health and separates wet and dry. The service staff is very good, cleaning and providing mineral water every day. The hotel has an elevator to facilitate guests to enter the floor without being tired from high levels. The roof of the hotel has its own tea room and scenery, directly visible to the Potala Palace. The room I stayed in could see the Potala Palace. I was very satisfied after two days of stay and stayed for two nights. There is a bus stop at the door, which is also convenient for travel.

The hotel is a very distinctive Tibetan-style hotel. The hotel also has a very unique and beautiful courtyard where you can take photos and check in. The front desk will also give us sweet tea rolls so that we can experience Tibetan sweet tea in the courtyard. There is also a Tibetan clothing experience in the lobby. On the fourth floor of the hotel, there is a self-service laundry room, which is a sun room. The hotel's breakfast is very rich, with Chinese, Western and Tibetan styles, and a variety of fruits, far exceeding the breakfast of a five-star hotel. The most important thing is that all the staff in the hotel have a very good service attitude, and they are all very enthusiastic, giving people a warm feeling. The facilities and equipment in the room are very complete, and the most important thing is that there is also a fish-leaping oxygen, which is very helpful for friends who have just arrived at the plateau. Thanks to the front desk ladies Ram and Zhao Min for their help. The service attitude is very good and they smile all the time. It is worth recommending. I will choose this hotel next time I come to Tibet.

The facilities are old and need to be renovated. The towels and floor mats on the bed and bathroom are quite clean. The room is Tibetan style. The waiter cleans it in time every day. I stayed for eight nights in total. I didn't ask for cleaning every day because I went to major temples every day. I'm not in the room during the day every day. I ask for it to be cleaned every two days! The oxygen supply didn't work very well. Except for a tall female manager at the front desk, they didn't upgrade my room on the first day I checked in. I was upgraded three days later. The attitude of the other front desk staff was very good. The cleaning foreman was particularly enthusiastic and polite. The cleaning is very serious. The breakfast is average. The environment is old. The ingredients are single. It costs more than 500 per night in this peak season. Management should be improved and the ingredients should be better. The hotel has advantages. Convenient transportation. There is a lot of food nearby. Potala It takes five minutes to walk to the palace and two minutes to Jokhang Temple. Other temples are also good. There is a temple right next to it, as shown in the picture. It is very good for health and studies. The public security nearby is very good. It is also very lively at night. The shops downstairs are also there. Not bad. Handmade from afar. I personally like it. Go shopping when you have time!

Lhasa Hotel should be a government reception institution with complete building facilities. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is commendable that the rooms are equipped with oxygen generators, which can effectively respond to altitude sickness and are extremely friendly to mainland tourists. Hotel location is also good, close to Beijing Road, diagonally opposite the Tibet Museum, if you don't mind walking 2 kilometers, it is very convenient to go to the Potala Palace. The hotel has a large ground parking lot. Breakfast is also very rich, providing special Tibetan meals.

The overall living experience is not bad. The hotel can see the snow-capped mountains and has a good view. The location is very close to Barkhor Street and is convenient to go out. The hotel is quite old and the facilities are not as good as newer ones. The service is very good. The room comes with a gift of 199 Tibetan photos (only simple makeup, if you want more complex ones, you have to pay 100 or 200 for an upgrade package). It is in a photography shop near the Potala Palace. There are many people and you have to wait for every step, which is quite slow. , a photographer takes four people to shoot. However, the price is indeed relatively cost-effective, so you can try it if you want. If you want a better shooting experience, you can find a restaurant on Barkhor Street. There are fewer people there in the off-season and the shooting experience is better.
