Abbiamo dormito all'Hostal, nella notte tra l'escursione al Parco Nazionale del Cotopaxi e quella alla laguna di Quilotoa. E' un'ambiente informale, con camere di diverse capienze e bagni in comune, ricavato in un palazzo proprio in centro. Un po' chiassoso e molto frequentato è però allegro e fornisce molte informazioni turistiche. Possiede una bella terrazza a tetto da cui si vede la città. Ottimo per una sosta breve.

Prima hostel om een tussenstop te maken in Het stadje. De voorzieningen zijn prima. Ze bieden dagtours aan al hebben we deze niet gedaan. Het dakterras geeft mooie uitzichten op dag met helder weer. Het ontbijt is niet inbegrepen maar een redelijke prijs zodat je zelf kan kiezen wat je wilt. Verder is alles schoon!

In my opinion, Hostal Tiana is the best place for travellers in Latacunga. Free storage of luggage, extremely helpful staff, fun and funky decor, sweet cafe - an overall excellent experience!! Great spot!

This seems to be the place that tourist/backpackers stay in Latacunga, and we’re not sure what other options exist, but it was pretty mediocre even for a cheap hostel. The young people (like, potentially teenagers) who were seemingly running the place were not at the front desk when we arrived - said they would be five minutes, came back after twenty with churros. We don’t really care too much about that stuff but the room was basic, the bed uncomfortable, and we agree with some other reviews that it seemed cheap to charge for a water bottle fill-up. Breakfast was fine and the women making it were great - made us hot/fresh eggs, otherwise some fruit and a croissant. It was cheap - 35 bucks for a couple with a private room and bathroom, so you pay for what you get. They do seem to have good information in English about the Quilotoa trek and Cotopaxi adventures, and you can leave your bags here for a small fee (we didn’t but many did).

Excelente desayuno y súper comodo. La dueña del hostal es súper amable y tiene información valiosa para hacer en las cercanías de Latacunga. Hay café y te gratis todo el tiempo, puedes usar la cocina para preparar tus alimentos y bonitas vistas en la terraza
