4145 by the Sea Inn & Suites

My wife left her AirPods in our room on November 25th. We reached out to the hotel owner and manager. She stated that they have them. She agreed to ship to us. We made arrangements to pay the shipping by Venmo and she agreed. She is now not returning our phone calls or responding to our emails. We will never stay at a property that we don’t trust people to do the right thing.

It was a wonderful, very clean place to stay. Within walking distance to bars, restaurants, the beach etc. They provided beach chairs and coolers for those out of towners. Very cute and quaint. Five stars!

Room was average at best...had a wierd smell..(not good)...property needs rehab and landscaping work...decent enough...you get what you pay for i guess...very helpful and communicative for check in needs though...

We had a two night stay before our cruise. The location was great, straight across from the beach and a short walk to the bars and restaurants. We booked two rooms. Both were very clean, with extremely comfortable beds. The self check-in process was easy and communication from the owner was great. Would highly recommend and we will stay again, when we are in the area.

Excellent location and friendly staff, was very clean and had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay before our cruise, restaurants and bars near by were also excellent. Would highly recommend! Would and will stay again before our next Christmas cruise.

The hotel was a basic room with limited amenities. On the ******* website the listed fees for extra stuff was not accurate. For example if you want to check in early ******* says the fee charged is $50, they charged me $60 and got defensive when I questioned it saying that already was a discount. If you want extra towels they charge you (you are provided 2 each of bath towels, hand towels, wash rags and beach towels) there is no daily househouse keeping. They only clean the room/provide new towels if you are there over a week. There is no pool (which i didn't notice when i booked the hotel so just be aware) the outside sitting area is small but nice however, there were big dropped palm leaves that had not been picked up. Overall it's a cheap place to stay for 1-2 nights and in a very walkable area to dinner and the beach. I stayed by myself for 1 night on the way down to the keys but had my husband been with me 2 towels would not have been enough. No onsite staff, you check yourself in with an email you recieved the day before. Most likely would not stay here again because they charge extra for everything. I think it's ridiculous to charge for early check in when the room was not occupied the night before and it appeared I was the only one there in the entire place but just my opinion.
