Idéalement placé dans la vieille ville et à deux pas de la gare, l’hôtel Sorel est un havre de silence la nuit tombée. bezüglich eines anlasses benötigten wir eine übernachtung in schaffhausen. auch wenn nur für 1 nacht, ist uns eine saubere, schön eingerichtete, nette frühstückslokation, nicht "in die jahre gekommene" unterkunft wichtig. das hotel rüden erfüllte die ganze palette bis zum auschecken! und die inzwischen verbreitete wasserflasche für die heimreise war eine weitere positive geste, die wir schätzen. wenn wir wieder einmal in der stadt weilen, wählen wir dieses hotel.

Booked a standard room for two nights at Sorell Hotel Rüden in early April 2023. Charming boutique hotel in the city center of Schaffhausen. It is a short walk to/from the train station. I checked-in after 8:00 pm. Good check-in/out experience. The guest agent that handled my check-in was friendly and thorough. Great customer service skills! My room was cozy and clean. Neither a kettle nor coffee machine is a standard room amenity. Overall my stay at Sorell Hotel Rüden was decent. The reception desk closes at 10 pm.

Very centrally located hotel in the old town, in the immediate vicinity of Schaffhausen train station. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Because the hotel is located in the old town, it does not have its own parking spaces. If you arrive by car, you should park in the public parking garage.

Located close to central station - professional late check in and smooth check out professional - breakfast ok - facilities good but wlan coverage was very disappointing in the room - difficult to have online meeting - all together however pleasant stay
