After a few nights staying in hotels and struggling to find reasonable eating options we went with this guesthouse. Stocked up before we left Rekeavik and was great to have access to kitchen and cooking facilities. Host was very helpful and location was perfect for Geysir and Gulfoss falls. Local thermal springs Secret lagoon a great authentic experience and very reasonable. Farmers Bistro en route to spa locely lunch options.

Room #8 is the smallest room we stayed in and not much room for luggage for 2 ppl. It's also next to the front door and ppl walking back and forth until midnight. Breakfast is good and the owner is friendly. I would recommend staying in one of the other rooms for more space and quiet.

The guesthouse is a very comfortable guesthouse. The rooms are big enough with TV, the shared bathrooms are clean. There is a fully equipped kitchen with seating. The communication in advance with the host was very nice. Dad Guesthouse is highly recommended

Lovely friendly b&b with a charming host. Very comfortable night and perfect little en suite. Good typical breakfast selection and useful to be able to use the kitchen for a quick dinner in the evening.

What a beautiful guest house. You immediately feel at home. We were greeted by the owner who explained everything in the kitchen, where you can park, if you want to use the kitchen because that is allowed. Where do you put your shoes? How WiFi works. The breakfast is very extensive and he explains everything the first time. Blessed.
