The Hotel is a great starting point for many great hikes in this area. Parking spaces are free of charge. The rooms are clean and it has everything you need. The service is very friendly and courteous. As always i felt very comfortable here and i really love this place. The food is really delicious and it is always freshly cooked. Wiener Schnitzel, Stechelberg Rösti are my favorites and of course the “Schwarzwälder”, you have to taste it when you are here, it is the best “Schwarzwälder” in the hole Switzerland- totally in love. A special surprise was this time in my room - thank you Marianne Gertsch so much for that I’m looking forward to come back soon- stay healthy and thank you so much again!! Sandra & Pit

It was a good stay for 2 nights in a summer peak season. We arrived to Lauterbrunnen without booking a hotel. All fully booked. Tom from information center helped us to book this cozy hotel. The staff is nice. Breakfast was simple but fresh bread, eggs, butter, cheeses, hams and jams are all we needed. We had two dinners and it was chef’s food menu. Highly recommended

Man bezahlt für die Lage. Überteuert für ein winziges Zimmer ohne Aussicht und ohne Privatbad. Wäre alles top wenn mindestens 30 CHF günstiger.

Great restaurant for a fuel-up before or after your hike plans. Service might seem a bit unfriendly, but it may simply be their character. Shouldn’t mind it. Nice apfelstrudel and great main courses. Recommended!
