Mercure Telford Centre Hotel

Excellent hotel, great location ,staff are very helpful and friendly. Lots of extras included in the price, Swimming Pool , Sauna, Hot tub, gym and many many more. Food very nice. Would definitely highly recommend and would stay again. Also dog friendly.

We stayed for 3 nights in a Privilege King Room. The room was a good size. The bed was very comfy; the duvet was slightly too warm. The TV was an impressive size. Wi-fi could be a lot better. The shower had good water pressure. The room came with empty bottles of conditioner and body lotion. We didn't use the swimming pool facilities, but they looked impressive. The bar was reasonably priced; 2 bottles of Rekorderlig for £8, cheaper than our local. Staff could do with a major attitude change. We mentioned to reception that we were missing items from the bathroom (conditioner and body lotion), and the receptionist told us that they would bring some up. They still didn't bring this, so we mentioned it again later on. We were advised that they had spoken with housekeeping, who had advised that they had refilled the bottles, which they hadn't. We ordered housekeeping for the following day, but they came late and were extremely rude. They didn't do much of what was needed. The floor wasn't hoovered, and the tea, coffee, and sugar were just thrown on the tray next to the kettle. The fire alarm went off early in the morning, and we were not advised of the alarm being tested. We were extremely unhappy about this, as it woke us up.

Room Was not up to standard. Reception team got this swiftly sorted and arranged a free upgrade for the inconvenience. Friendly and helpful staff. Would return again.

The location is good and the room is clean, good as a business hotel for a few days

Clean room, good service at breakfast, good breakfast choice and is served in a nice decent restaurant. Decent lounge area and good amenities with gym and warm pool.

This has been my second time here I came in May and now back in June both times that I have came Hellen has served Me at breakfast and she is lovely always cheery and always smiley making sure everything is okay with your meal, reception staff are also very welcoming

Great stay! Really enjoyed breakfast, great selection, the host Alex went above and beyond. Very friendly and helpful, great service from the all the team, thank you! The rooms were clean and comfortable and I’ll definitely be back in the future!
