I checked in for one night in January and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. The room I got had chips in the bed and the pillows were yellow and filthy. I went down to the desk to switch rooms, not too happy because I was exhausted and it was cold outside. They gave me a different room, which i appreciated. However, I had left some items up in my original room and had to go back to the front desk to have them let me back in to the first room to grab them. They did. Then I realized that I had left my cell phone in my first room and had to go BACK to the front desk to have them let me in again. The guy working the front desk actually said to me "You've already been back in here 2 times ma'am", as if I was doing something wrong. Guess what? I wouldnt have HAD to come back to the desk at all if I had been placed in a room that wasn't dirty! Another employee did apologize to me for his coworker's behavior when I checked out the next day, but I don't appreciate being shamed for having to deal with an inconvenience THEY caused. I'll never stay here again.
