Lime Tree Bay Resort

Awesome place. The rooms are great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained. Our 2nd vacation here and we made our reservations for next year. Conveniently located. Can snorkel right out in front of room. Well worth our money.

Clean and comfortable. Kitchen lights not working. Oven hood light not working. No lights in kitchen. No power outlets at bed side cabinets. Otherwise great.

Perfect spot for some quiet and relaxation. We stayed across the street from the main building that had its own pool and lounge areas, but we used both pools depending upon our mood. This area had such perfect temperatures and a nice breeze all the time. Can't way to go back! There isn't much in the area, but that's what we wanted. Bar/restaurant was divey, but we both enjoyed our meals. 1/2 way between Marathon & Islamorada. 1.5 hours to Key West. Will definitely try to go back again.

Lime Tree Bay Resort is absolutely beautiful! Peaceful, tropical & serene this resort was the perfect way to end our trip to Key West. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. The staff were outstanding.. professional yet friendly. Its the kind of place you can be happy doing alot (kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling) or nothing at all ( simply sitting by the gulf and admiring the beauty of the world we are lucky enough to exist in). I would love to go back again. I only wish we had planned a longer stay.

Actually kind of a nice property. Updated and clean, but outside the unit there was a constant terrible smell. We found out that there is a pumping station up the road,

4.8!!! The resort was nice, clean, rooms nicely updated with a terrace! Views amazing, sunset spectacular! Water amazing w kayak, paddle board and get your own float and just lay in the water with your drink! Staff amazing and friendly! Located perfectly between Islamorada and Marathon! Close to all outdoor activities and restaurants in Islamorada.

We were celebrating our 35th Anniversary and were doing a 7 day driving trip from Miami to Key West and wanted a resort about halfway. I read all the recent reviews and chose the Lime Tree Bay Resort. And what a great choice it was. We wanted a room on the gulf and reserved the Premium Waterfront. Awesome room with all updated amenities and great beds. We started every day with coffee on our private deck and ended the day with adult beverages watching the sunset. The property has free use of kayaks, paddle boards and bikes. We kayaked and thoroughly enjoyed it in the gulf in front of the resort. We also wanted a property with a nice pool near the ocean and this definitely checked the box. If you are looking for great sandy beaches, you shouldn’t be in the Keys, however this property has a nice sandy area on the water with hammocks, lounge chairs and chairs for sunbathing and for great sunset viewing. If you are looking for daily entertainment, this property is located in Layton, about 20-30 min from fun in Islamorada or Marathon. Layton only has a boat rental company next door and a convenience store across the street, otherwise the resort is the only thing in the town (for tourists). Next door, but part of the resort is Florida Boy, a decent restaurant/bar with solid food and plenty of the locals to point you in the right direction of things to do. You get a free continental breakfast everyday at this restaurant. It is a few pastries, bagels, yogurt, fruit and coffee, but it does the trick if you aren’t looking for the 3 egg omelet, which you can get there for normal prices. All staff were great and they keep this place looking great, because, as most places in the Keys, it could show its age, but this place has been well cared for. All said and done, I researched so many resorts and for the competitive price, location (middle of Keys), quality and laid back vibe, this is a home run. I will definitely stay here again.

Lime Tree Bay Resort was the perfect place to spend our 11th wedding anniversary. We were there for 7 days, and loved everything about this quaint little resort. From the well-kept grounds to the accommodations, we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay- it was perfect. The pool was always sparkling clean, and the sunsets every night were spectacular. We can’t wait to return! Thanks to the awesome staff for making our stay perfect!😍

Pool, options for free water craft. Whole waterfront was great. Rooms clean and inviting.
