Que dire concernant tout d'abord Claudine et Marie-France. Deux très belles personnes extérieures comme intérieures. Un accueil chaleureux. De bonnes discussions. De très bonnes explications sur les choses à voir autour des chaumières. Le choix de restaurants.. Quant à la chambre,.. Très jolie et des attentions dans le moindre détail. Jusqu'à la bouteille de cidre du Pays d'Auge dans le réfrigérateur. Une vue sur un magnifique jardin arboré d'arbres superbes. Tout est vraiment très bien. La literie, la propreté sans oublier le parfait petit-déjeuner. Confitures faites maison, ainsi que le jus d'orange, et la compote, le camembert du Pays d'Auge. Je n'ai plus de mots pour les remercier de tant de petites attentions. Le départ des chaumières entre parenthèses celles-ci tellement belles, ce fût dur de partir. Mais ce n'est qu'un Aurevoir. Et si je puis me permettre je vous fais de grosses bises de loin...Pas si loin.. Le Havre. Les Chaumières un Havre de Paix. Regardez ce si beau coucher de soleil. Encore Merci pour ce si beau 16 octobre.

A charming thatched cottage in the middle of the beautiful Pays d’Auge. We stayed for two nights in May 2022. Our room was bright and clean with well supplied en-suite. The house is run by two ladies who are very welcoming and anxious to please. The continental breakfast was magnificent even to providing tubs of both salted and unsalted butter (no little packets) homemade spreads and freshly pressed orange juice.
