Complexe hôtelier magnifique, au pied des pistes de ski (Télécabine de l'Aravet) le personnel au Petits soins ! Petit bémol qui n'impacte pas l'hôtel ou le personnel, des clients bruyants, peu respectueux de la quiétude des autres...

Lovely week at Le Rock Noir. All the staff were super nice and helpful. Good food in the restaurant and excellent cocktails in the bar. Booked a cozy room (smallest) which was a lot bigger than I expected it to be with nice touches including chilled water in the mini fridge, a kettle and a Nespresso machine. Super convenient for both the slopes and the old town. Have stayed in Serre Chevalier a few times now and in my view this is by far the nicest hotel with the nicest staff!

The staff at the Hotel are excellent, super helpful. The Breakfast is really good but only book b&b as the Dinner is very hit and miss. The chef serves raw fish (without meaning to) and is weird regarding his set menu. Feel sorry for most of the staff but they need to sort out there dinner offerings

à 50m du départ des pistes de l'Aravet, c'est une excellente adresse tenu par une équipe adorable. On a passé un super moment et l'équipe a été au petit soin pour nous et très efficace. Pourtant au départ on est un peu surpris par l'hôtel car le look extérieur n'est peut être pas à la hauteur du service qu'il offre à l'intérieur. Les espaces bar et restaurants sont très sympa avec une déco chaleureuse et on y passe de très bons moments. le ski room est très bien fait et très pratique. Le soir il y a un petit feu sur la terrasse extérieure et c'est très agréable. L'équipe accueille les familles (même avec chien) de façon adorable et on se sent aussi bien qu'à la maison. Tout le monde est disponible et serviable. On reviendra surement

We had a lovely staff at Rock Noir. The hotel is located just by the cable car, offering easy access to skiing for all levels. The staff were all friendly and helpful without exception, but a special mention for Ornella, who went out of her way to offer great service with a smile - a great job to the team. We will be coming back.

One of our favourite hotels which we’ve stayed at. Perfectly located next to L’Aravet bubble lift, there is a lovely heated boot room with ample space for all your equipment. The walk to the lifts takes 1 minute. We enjoyed using the pool and sauna every day after a long day on the mountains. The food was superb: breakfast, afternoon cakes and the restaurant meals were all high quality French cuisine. We tried a few different restaurants for dinner during the week but the hotel’s was by far the best in our opinion! Every single member of staff we met was so friendly, so helpful and so kind. We can’t thank them enough for a beautiful stay. We are afraid that rock noir has set the bar too high now for future ski trips! Merci beaucoup pour tout!

Excellent location with all the necessary hotel conveniences. Our room was fresh and clean and accessible with a little one. There is a spa pool…make reservations and enjoy.

Classé comme l un des meilleurs de la vallée, c est un peu juste pour un 4 étoiles Les points très positifs : l emplacement proche du centre ville et des remontées (pour l hiver), l accueil, le service , le personnel , le petit déjeuner Les moins: chambres petites ( ce doit être encore plus petit en hiver avec les équipements), pas de parking privé, le bruit des livreurs le matin sur la place (6hrs), la vue montagne et parking public L hôtel dispose également d une piscine ( en sous sol) et d un spa, et d un restaurant de bonne qualité où l on aurait aimé une carte plus originale et plus locale
