Best Hotels near Monument aux Morts, Le Perreux-Sur-Marne

The ibis Nogent-sur-Marne is a budget-friendly hotel located in the Val-de-Marne department of France. It is just a short walk from the Marne River and the Nogent-sur-Marne train station, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. The hotel has a modern and minimalist design. The hotel is well located. The friendly, dynamic and sympathetic team. Nothing to reiterate from this side. The litter is also perfect. With regard to the room, work to do? The bathroom grid is attached with scotch. We have come for years and we have never seen this. Our room felt cigarette at the end of the evening and smoking was passed through the communicating door. However, smoking is prohibited in the room. We told the reception that told us, being complete, we couldn't change room but open the window. Unpleasant night and too much noise. What a pity.

I am a frequent traveler and this is one of the most horrible services ever seen in 20+ years of travel!!!! Highly DISrecommend it due to the cynical and disrespectful behavior of the ” Directrice de l'etablissement ” and her proteges. This aparthotel has very noisy ventilation and in addition, is located on a main avenue where the noise and vibrations of cars are heard 24/7. If you need normal sleep this is not the place to choose. Showers are almost inaccessible due to the tiny hole to access, as one of the two sliding doors is fixed permanently. The hotel is made from cheap materials making the noise propagate even more, and the shower falls in pieces generating safety issues (one can easily be hurt). Other clients had to wait hours locked in the parking before they can access the building and nobody is available at the reception in the evenings or during the weekends, despite this being announced as reception available 24/7. Most of the personnel is eating their food at the main entry hall, very small, most are unlawful (with very small exception), and makes clients feel unwelcome and unwanted. All personnel is foreigners. I made a request for a quiet room but cynically was given a room just under the roof where the ventilator can be heard the most and when I asked to be changed was given a room with a broken lock that could be opened even without a key, which makes one feel insecure. When I raised the issue I was told that ”The personnel wanted to please me but that I cannot be allowed to check every single room to find a suitable room for myself, that the room is not noise, as the personnel is unable to hear any noise” which contradicted to the statement that ”All quiet rooms are the first to be taken, so no quiet rooms are left and that I will not be reimbursed if I wanted to leave. The fact that the aparthotel could not provide me with a quiet room has not been communicated upon the reservation. I have stayed at several Adagio Aparthotels in Paris, this is by far the worst one.

The hotel is modern in decoration, the room is very large, the bed is fixed, and the bed is a large bed with two single beds. With a small induction cooker and sink, the bathroom space is also large. The hotel is 3 minutes walk through a parking lot with a fast track RER, 20 minutes direct to Galeries Lafayette, and to the Arc de Triomphe and Disney.

The hotel has a closed parking. The breakfast is complete and willing. In one way as the other you can make beautiful walks along the Marne.

I had read a lot about the hotel, but I would like to calm the next guests: it is a accommodation at less than one minute from the RER A station, which connects in just 4 stops with the centre of Paris for a €1.90 ticket. Your breakfast (from 06.00 to 10.00 AM) is enough (cafe and tea machine, milk, cereals, some fruit and a cooking area and toast) and the reception equipment is friendly. Although the area looks dark, there is a five-minute shopping centre with a great Auchan and a Burger King, a McDonald and a Asian restaurant. You are relaxed well and at the price you have (especially with Paris prices) to have a comfortable bed, a acceptable bathroom and a breakfast to start the day deserves to be recognized as a good choice for the traveler who will only pass there to Rest and shower****.

The room is small, typical commercial hotel, no slippers, no toiletries. Breakfast is a typical white meal, there are fewer types, more general, no hot meals

Located across the street from the train station is this hotel’s best asset. The Continental breakfast was just ok. Some days it seemed they were out of items. Pastries were ok. Standard coffee machine with lots of options was available. Nespresso in the lobby ( I never used it). There is an on site bar and they advertise room service but no one ever answered the phone and sometimes no one was working the bar. They also had limited offerings. The room was fine but if you use the a/c there was a definite sewer smell. Fortunately the window opened but my room was on the train side which was very noisy. I closed it at night. Room had a tiny mini fridge. No drawers fit for folded clothes but there was a cabinet with a few shelves. There were train issues which made getting into the city center cumbersome one of the days. Easy to get to Disneyland Paris but beware the station at the park closes earlier than the train stops running. I would leave before 10:45pm to avoid needing alternative transport. Personally I would rather stay in the city center closer to an actual metro line. I won’t be back.

Cost-effective, the surrounding residential areas are also very quiet, will stay again
