Many (30 or so) years ago we lived in France and stayed in a couple of the Barierre hotels in Deauville. The overall impression was one of faded grandeur - beautiful buildings, the decor not exactly tatty but a bit old school. Nowadays we regularly visit Northern France and have often though about staying here but baulked a bit at the price and also our recollection of the Deauville properties - would it be worth it ? Being a bit flush recently we took the plunge and were not disappointed. The whole place is decorated to a high standard which is new and immaculate but nonetheless faithful to the Art Deco heritage. Service is flawless - polite, friendly, efficient. It's not cheap but if you are in the area and want to push the boat out it's thoroughly recommended. See separate review of the restaurant, which is also a good reason to stay here.

Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt in einem ausgezeichneten Hotel mit aufmerksamen Team. Behutsame Renovierung des nun 100-jährigen Hotels in toller Lager in Le Touquet. Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal dort und werden sicher wiederkommen.

Quelle honte... chambre exiguë...sombre ..vue parking... Petit déjeuner (quite!!!!) 37 euros (continental)par personne + 7 euros pour pris dans la chambre.... Parking 1 nuit 25 euros Chambre 413 euros. Le nouveau luxe à la française...déprimant...personnel !!!! Attente 45 mn pour avoir notre valise en chambre. Nb ...la table du petit déjeuner ne passe pas dans la chambre !!!!!!

Always our last stop before coming home to uk. Great food and great snacks in bar . Rooms are comfortable and showers and baths lovely. Only let downs are no proper air con so rooms are always too warm and corridors are red hot ! Such a waste of heating it was rainy but still 17c yet heating was blasting out in all areas … This time the blonde girl on receptionist was a bit rude . We were told to stove early as a bike race meant roads would be shut at 3 ocklock in the town . We arrived at 1 and told room was not ready which was ok but our bags were left right by the front door ! When I told of my corcen for an expensive laptop I was told they were carefully being watched despite the girl and other staff being in a back room chatting away ….

Wir hatten 5 Nächte in diesem Hotel gebucht und waren rundum zufrieden. Lage: Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig und kann mit dem Auto gut angefahren werden. In wenigen Minuten ist man zu Fuß im Stadtzentrum oder am kilometerlangen Strand. Der Hotelparkplatz ist komfortabel und moderat im Preis. Hotel: Traumkulisse und gut geschultes Personal lassen den Aufenthalt zum Erlebnis werden. Die Zimmer sind groß und wirken frisch renoviert. Restaurant, Bar und Aufenthaltsräume entsprechen dem Hotelstandard. Gesamturteil: Der Aufenthalt wird zum Erlebnis. Wir haben uns über eine Flasche Champagner zur Begrüßung und diverse andere Geschenke sehr gefreut und kommen gerne wieder. Tip: Das Restaurant ist sehr gut, jedoch sind in unmittelbarer Nähe vergleichbare Gerichte deutlich günstiger zu bekommen.

Pour la 2eme fois nous sommes retournés à cet hôtel où nous avons passés 5 nuits .une fous de plus nous n avons pas été déçu.Ravie de ce séjour. Un hôtel agréable, des équipes extrêmement avenantes et professionnelles . Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Wonderful hotel, elegant décor, delightful staff, comfortable rooms half a bottle of champagne in the room on arrival, quality toiletries fantastic food in the restaurants. Plenty of choice for breakfast, fruits, cereals, cheeses, patisseries, breads, meats, hot food . Spa is a bit small , pool is not one for serious swimmers. However I don't come here for the spa but for all the other marvellous things this lovely hotel has to offer.

Magnifique bâtisse très bien entretenue, qui fait penser à l’hôtel du Golf de par sa taille et à l’Hermitage par son charme et sa prestance. Les espaces communs sont impeccables tout comme les chambres : le personnel est présent et fait un travail de qualité. Nous avons la chance de séjourner en chambre prestige avec vue sur l’entrée, quel bonheur. Les nuits sont apaisantes car la chambre est bien insonorisée. Le mobilier est de qualité et les couleurs dorées jusqu’à dans la douche sont à l’image de la chaîne Barrière que nous connaissons pour y avoir séjourné souvent. Le petit déjeuner donne un choix varié et propose des produits locaux, frais et de qualité. Que ce soit en sucré ou salé, tout est là pour satisfaire les petits appétits comme les grands. Il nous reste heureusement encore une nuit à passer ce soir et nous savons que le départ de demain sera déjà un dur retour à la réalité du quotidien… Merci de nous avoir permis, le temps de ce séjour, d’être loin de nos soucis du quotidien. Nous reviendrons c’est certain !
