Leech Lake Resort Bed & Breakfast

Fabulous time with our wonderful hosts, Sandra and Gary. A room with a beautiful view of the lake, and breakfast to die for each morning at 9:00 AM sharp

We are from California and found this beautiful bed and breakfast in upper Minnesota. we loved the location, loved the view, loved the hosts, loved the breakfast… The bed could have been a bit firmer and larger. Thanks for the nice stay and we would love toco e back in the summer and enjoy the warm Minnesota sun….

Very nice accommodations! Clean, beautiful and just plain comfortable! Gary and Sandra are gems!!! We would recommend staying at this B&B. We were here in March and it was beautiful. Can't imagine what woukd would be like in tge summer. Many things to do!

The property was located on the shores on Leech Lake. Our room had three walls of windows allowing us to watch the sunrise and see the lake and watch the birds. Gary was the most attentive host and was happy to answer any questions and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious! We had fluffy blueberry pancakes, bacon, fresh fruit, tea, coffee and juice. There was soft music playing in the common area and lamps turned on in the evening to make it feel warm and welcoming. The entire place was immaculate, and tastefully decorated in a North Woods theme. We loved our time here and would definitely return.

We came for a restful getaway and that is what we got. A beautiful room with amazing views, sunrises overlooking the lake. Common space was beautiful and we enjoyed meeting other guests. Gary and Sandra welcomed us with open arms and made every effort to make us feel welcome and at home.

We had a wonderful experience. Everything you would hope for in a bed and breakfast. Clean and comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Gary and Sandra are so hospitable, they make you feel right at home. This was our third visit, and we will definitely go back again.

Gary and Sandra are some of the loveliest people I have ever met. We have stayed at their B&B twice. They warmly welcome you into their beautiful home. You instantly feel at ease to utilize the common areas to relax or commune with other guests, play a game of pool, help finish a puzzle, read a book, or watch something on the TV, it's your choice. The two rooms we have stayed in were very well appointed with everything we needed, including heated pads on the bed for those chilly nights we get in Minnesota, and with our last visit they have added sound machines in the bedroom. We stayed in the Bayview Suite which is like having your own retreat get-away with an amazing view of the grounds and lake. The park-like grounds are immaculately cared for and enhance the view of the lake. The food is fabulous and I promise you will not need lunch after the amazing spread they will present to you at their breakfast table. There are coffee and tea fixings available 24 hrs along with home-baked cookies and other snacks. This is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed at in our 40 years of marriage. I would highly recommend this wonderful place to friends and family.

This is a cute place with plenty of space and the hosts are very attentive! Our room had a great view of the lake and was stocked with books, binoculars, wine glasses and even a white noise machine. Food was delicious, there is plenty to do on the property plus in the area.

From beginning to all-too-soon end, our weekend stay with Gary and Sandra was everything we could have hoped for. We stayed in the Bay View Suite and enjoyed coffee in the morning and a glass of wine each evening taking in the serene lake view while warmed by our cozy fireplace. Breakfast was hearty and delicious and only surpassed by the company we shared it with. After Gary's thorough briefing on activities and restaurants available in the area, we spent one day exploring Itasca State Park on snowshoes and enjoyed a couple delicious meals at locally owned restaurants in Walker. We're already looking for another weekend to get back.
