Hampton by Hilton Leeds City Centre

Everything is good, especially the breakfast. We love the waffle and the creamy chocolate.

The room is a normal-sized one, equipped with 2 British twin bed (Width: 130~140cm), and it was prepared in an acceptable condition. Air-conditioner is available, but you may find that it need to be turned on for 2~3 times a day, as the system had been set in an economic mode by the hotel. The breakfast is a typically British one, whilst baked mushroom is not provided. Nevertheless, the breakfast tastes good, and you could serve yourself with chocolate croissants, cheese, hot tomato mush, vegetarian-friendly sausages, honey, tinned peaches and coconut yoghurt. Toothpastes and toothbrushes could be ordered with a fee (￡2), thereby you'd better rake your own's. The location is reasonable, since the hotel adjoins the John Lewis shopping mall, and there's only 10-min walk way between the hotel and Leeds coach station. Meanwhile, you may walk to the Victoria and Trinity shopping centres in 15~20 minutes from the hotel, though it might be a bit inconvenient to travel to the nearby downtown by bus, given the lack of bus stops next to the gate of this hotel. Overall, it's a foolproof option for someone who anticipate a lodging experience surpassing the average level there.

The hotel is very new and clean overall, the bathroom wall tiles are very clean, and it is only 10 minutes walk out of the city center.

Clean. Good breakfast. WiFi ok. Parking was good but expensive, can consider nearby parkings.

Good trek from the centre. Breakfast was lukewarm and poor. I won't stay here again. Dining room/bar was soulless with half the ceiling missing. Staff were nice though

The hotel is located at the city center with close proximity to almost everywhere. The room is spacious with great city view and a huge shout out to the member of staff for their professional but warm service. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy the city vibe in Leeds!
