Hotel Windsor w Jachrance

I was invited to a celebration at the Windsor Palace Hotel and traveled from Germany for it. From the outside it looks very classy and elegant, and the inside is just as elegant. The lobby, reception, event rooms and rooms are quite spacious and have a lot of space. My room had a view of the countryside, which is very beautiful there. The room was very clean, everything you need was there. A few more TV channels would have been good, there was only one English-speaking channel. Our event included a typical three-course meal. Very tasty, typical Polish dishes beautifully presented on the plate. The buffet had a very varied selection of starters and desserts. The very friendly staff could perhaps speak a little more English. If I hadn't been there with locals, communication (except at reception) would not have worked well. The breakfast buffet is typical of the country, so lots of sweet, lots of savoury and not so much in between. Small negative point - the coffee comes from the machine. Fresh fruit rounds off the offer. The price/performance ratio was absolutely fine, so I would recommend this hotel if you want to spend your holiday in this area

I definitely do not recommend this place for a wedding, the hotel is a big mistake. The staff doesn't know what they are doing, all requests were forgotten or ignored, the organization is below any standard. Interestingly, the hotel has disabled reviews on Facebook. The hotel did not fulfill the contract and did not respond to the email in which we requested a refund of part of the costs. Why? Because cold snacks for over 100 guests, instead of being served on tables, were prepared on ONE (!) table without informing us about the change in "standards" after signing the contract. The dessert buffet is a joke. No tablecloths in the buffet. The photos speak for themselves. The list of unsuccessful things is much longer: a late wedding apar**ent, an unprepared terrace, unironed napkins, lost alcohol tags and scratch cards for guests, holes in chair covers, delays in serving dishes, waitresses broke the cake topper. In the morning, the hotel breakfast was held on the dance floor of our room (the florists were working in the meantime...). There was no alcohol served on the village table, and when they improved, there were no glasses, which even the hotel owner washed during the wedding. Some of the staff were on their first day at work and our inexperience bothered us in many situations, e.g. - many guests did not eat the cake because there was no person at the table and the staff did not leave it. Before thanking the parents, none of the staff knew where the bouquets were put. Not to mention only the negatives, we are very satisfied with the course of the corrections. After a row at the wedding, everything was prepared as agreed and we have no objections. However, we cannot forgive weddings and it is not even a lack of professionalism but one big drama. I hope that at least one couple will save their wedding by choosing another place.

A very large facility, a palace. At first glance, it looks slightly overwhelming. There are cannons at the entrance, followed by a marble fountain, columns, and decorations. Too much luxury. Nice service. Clean, nice rooms, comfortable beds, pretty good coffee.

The hot tub in the apar**ent did not work (it burned down on the first day), for which the hotel does not want to take responsibility. The sports fields presented on the hotel's website (for football, badminton, volleyball) do not exist (they are just piles driven into the plowed and overgrown ground). Bowling, ping-pong, air hockey and darts were unavailable. Hotel restaurants were closed. The hotel's exterior is very neglected (cracked stairs, peeling paint). There is a ruin by the water, the pier is leaky and dangerous, a bench is broken. Moreover, the hotel does not meet the criteria for being four stars: no fridge/minibar in the room, no working restaurant, no bar, no working telephone in the room (I had to connect it myself). No response to the complaint. There are better hotels in the area.
