What a great hotel. Just a few minutes walk from the train station and if you are a keen train spotter you can watch them from your bedroom window. Spotless room. A small fridge which was nice. Tea/ coffee. Amazing shower, super powerful and refreshing. Comfy bed. Air con to get the room temperature right. Bag storage secure room if your flight is later and you don't want to carry your luggage around.

There was not hot water nor iron for clothes. Staff was nice. No bottle of water provided, that is usual in 4 star hotels

This hotel is a good hotel to go with couple. it is not recommended for business trips.

Good service and very neat and beautiful room in the center of Leiden and a minute's walk from the station! Highly recommended, we would definitely go there again!

The hotel's location is ideal for people coming by train, because it's only a few minutes from Leiden's central railway station. The room is really fancy, windows are quite sound-proof (but you can even open one), the shower is nice and there is a sink in the middle of your room! The concept is on self login and logout and there is no served breakfast. One small recommendation: A hook for the small towel is missing. All in all highly recommended!

The hotel is under 5 minutes walk from Central Station, and just on the edge of the main old town. Google maps is not very clever at the walking directions, and sent us a rout which took 20 minutes walking and ended up leading us to the entrance from the car park. We heard that this is a common complaint from guests arriving by foot. The hotel location is pretty handy for visiting many of the tourist spots in Leiden with probably a 20 minute walk to the Rijks Museum and / or Botanical Gardens about the biggest duration to get anywhere. The hotel is one of those with a "host" instead of a checkin / checkout desk. You are supposed to do both yourself on an adjacent screen, although in practice the "host" did the task for us and for almost everyone else we noticed checking in. There is no breakfast provided, but instead a reasonably large selection of snack and breakfast items plus other things you might want to buy at a hotel is available. You have to pay for these things via a scanner and card payment machine - there are no staff present. This all worked quite well for us, and proved a lot cheaper than typical hotel breakfast, but might not suit everyone. The actual room was large, but dark as can be! Walls were painted a gloomy colour which ****** all the light out of the room. Even in daylight it seemed dark, and at night it certainly was dark! The wash basin was in the same physical space as the bed, while there was a separate door for a toilet and another (glass) door for a shower. Due to the very low level of lighting, it was a big struggle to see myself in the mirror for shaving. Our room looked out onto a car park and was nice and quiet. Rooms on the main street might not be.

New hotel with the same owner of Golden Tulip. Self check-in and out and same staff as Golden Tulip. Therefore you MUS NOT arrive after 22:00 pm. We waited for 20 minutes before someone from the Golden Tulip arrived at vic Hotel to open the door. First we rang the bell and after few minutes I had to call the hotel. Strange way of working. Also even if the room (N°205) was nice the window was so small that we had to light up all the day. Not sure to come back to this hotel

Beautiful spick and span new hotel, nice spotless room, friendly staff, but you can also check in and out at the column yourself, the bathroom is in the room which can be uncomfortable, very thoughtful a bottle of proceco as a welcome and you can buy everything at the mini market for your breakfast or something delicious in your room, really nice concept

Recommended!! A surprisingly decorated hotel from the same owner as Tulip Inn. You are taken into a colorful hotel as a kind of experience. In terms of decor, style and fun gadgets. Beautiful cheerful lighting and you are welcomed in the elevator with a pleasant voice from the speakers. Rooms are of course brand new and modern and again colorfully decorated. The regular lighting could be a bit more. Because it was a bit dark at the sink. The hotel has no bar but the takeaway has enough refreshments. Or you can go to the cozy bar of the adjacent hotel (Tullip inn, 10 meters walk). You can also have a delicious breakfast there (recommended!) If you can't find anything at the take away. Price / quality really a winner !! We will definitely come back!

Leuk en modern hotel, locatie ideaal gelegen; dicht bij station en op loopafstand van centrum. Het zelf inchecken ging makkelijk. Mochten er vragen zijn kon je of een telefoon nummer bellen of bij degene vragen die achter de receptie zat. Erg leuk personeel van de receptie!

Leuk ingericht hotel, anders en specialer dan een doorsnee hotel. Goede en duidelijke self check-in en check-out en zeer leuke inrichting van de bar! De voetbaltafel is zeker een meerwaarde! Voldoende parkeermogelijkheden. Vriendelijk personeel en nette kamers met leuk uitzicht over Leiden Centraal. Zeker een aanrader!

Wij verbleven hier afgelopen dagen 1 nacht en hebben ook gebruik gemaakt van hun restaurant; zowel kamer en restaurant zijn geweldig! Vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk bed, prima douche en goede ( stille!) airco! Ook restaurant was top, heerlijk 3 gangen menu met super bediening! Kortom aanrader ! Schuin tegenover station! Parkeren achter hotel voor 17.50 euro voor 24 uur.
