The location was important for us to celebrate New Year's Eve with family nearby. The mall next to the hotel is really fantastic! Staff friendly, but you notice that it often gets too busy. We waited in line for no less than 40 minutes before checking in. In this technological age, this could really be done differently by doing a pre-check-in. Rooms were not cleaned daily. Elevator still defective, this was also the case last time. We found the hotel otherwise fine. A bit expensive, yes. We will definitely come back... hopefully the hiccups have been resolved.

As other reviews mention, customer service isn’t the greatest. The biggest problem is the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. The guest staying diagonally above us decided it was appropriate to play an instrument in their room at 9:30pm. Then just before midnight we were woken up to shouting and banging saying “Can you let me in” We thought this was the hotel trying to get into the room of a guest who had locked their door. The shouting then turned to “I’m in 310, can you get help” I went to reception to report this, and I caught some other guests who were tired of the noise and decided to leave, we didn’t have that option gone midnight. I went up to the floor with the staff, incase it was a medical incident and they needed assistance. Turns out the guest had just locked themselves out on the balcony smoking. We reported the disruption at check out in the morning. The room could do with some more thorough cleaning and maintenance. There was a storm so it was very windy. There was a broken vent in the window which made the room cold. The air con was locked to cold only, obviously other guests were cold too as it was set to 30c, but as it was set to cold it just made the room colder. There were also rubber bands and a previous guests hair tie on the floor. Hotel is in a really great location, seconds away from a really great Mall with lots of dining options. The bed was very comfortable, just wish we had more rest.

hotel was very good for business trips and short tourist visits rooms, cleanliness, small gestures etc all seemed fine i can only add, it would be nice if rhey have hotel slippers in the rooms and the bath towels could be a bit bigger maybe but ün general, top option for the money you pay

I stayed with my husband in this hotel, we had taken 3 nights during these three days the cleaning was not done even once although we had been well informed each time of our wish that it be carried out. Our towels were not changed once, we ourselves had to ask the reception for new towels, and incredibly the lady at the reception (with a black jacket) had difficulty agreeing to give new towels to my husband!! The staff, especially the receptionists, are not at all welcoming, at least not with everyone. In addition the room smelled strongly of cigarettes, we had paid for a deluxe room we had a room with two single beds, and a shower where the water overflows everywhere… The balconies are dirty. I work in a 4-star hotel, and the Flatcher Hotel is not at all up to the standard of a 4-star hotel! I strongly advise against it, you can find much better in the surrounding area cheaper or at the same price

Ordered a salad with smoked salmon. After waiting 1 hour and asking 3 times, the salad comes. And yes - they really don't know what they are talking about: I got a salad with canned salmon. Returned. Inquiries with the cook revealed that the smoked salmon had run out; so then just from the can - 'salmon is salmon, what was the problem?' No sense in arguing and no more appetite - no more Fletcher for me either👎🏻

Booking already went wrong. Had to pay 35 euros more than stated on the confirmation. Suite is really not a suite. But an old loft that is not worth the money. Elevator is broken. Staff very friendly. There's nothing wrong to say about that.

my hotel room was on the 4th floor ..and my sleep the first night there ..was disturbed by the air conditioning unit & its fans on the roof ..i complained to reception and was told by them that it was due to the storm ..and that ALL guests on my floor had complained of same ...the rest of the week ..was fine ..the restaurant ONLY had the menu in dutch ( bad move ) ..as i would have eaten there more often IF i could read the menu ..dined there with dutch friends so they helped translate ..fab shopping centre next door & food court & restaurants !..thank god !..it made up for everything else !...lovely housekeeping staff ( i left some goodies for them when i left & a thank u note )
