Lovely hotel with big rooms and a huge car park. Disappointed to see a tatty and ripped copy of the hotel details in the room. Restaurant absolutely top quality with lovely fresh produce beautifully cooked and presented and a good wine list. Nice cooked breakfast but, at an establishment of this quality, I would expect to be given a cafetière of coffee rather than it being delivered by the cup - and I would also expect freshly squeezed orange juice rather than from a carton. Little things make big differences.

Stayed over for one night. We were with our son so booked a family room which was lovely. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast excellent. Would stay again.

I expected to have a good time at this charming bed and breakfast but that was not the case. The entrance area is connected to the bar, so it’s unclear where to check in. I booked a king en-suite, and the room had a queen size bed, was freezing cold (30F) cause the heat hadn’t been turned on for the unit. It ended up being two travelers which they then had us move to a family suite with an up charge. As a ******* VIP member I didn’t expect this. There was no complimentary coffee or water provided to us. The manager seemed unphased and honestly annoyed anytime I spoke to her or requested something. The staff could use some training on proper etiquette for foreign travelers. Additionally if you don't have your own vehicle or know anyone in town to drive you it will be extremely hard to get around. You’ll need to call for a local taxi service and pay cash.

When I checked in I asked about the Wi-Fi State and was told all was good no issue. The second I attempted to logon I was unable to use the WI Fi and unable to work I informed the reception to be told Oh yes thats normal for this time of day. As it turned out it was the same all day and night. Staff service was poor.

We were not satisfied with the price-performance ratio here. The hotel is on a country road with loud traffic until late at night. Our room and bathroom were very small and were directly above the entrance to the hotel and restaurant, so we had noise from the other guests and the car park until late in the evening. Overall, the hotel was quite noisy. The room's furnishings may be a matter of taste, but there was no fridge, the safe didn't work and the portable air conditioner didn't cool. Although we had booked a DOUBLE room, there were only towels for one person on all three days, and we had to ask for them every day for the second person. The room was not cleaned during our stay. There were only a few channels on the TV and the sticky remote control had never been thoroughly cleaned in its very long life. We don't understand why this should be a 5-star hotel. The only bright spot was the restaurant, the breakfast, freshly prepared to order, was very good. The staff in the hotel were - with one exception - nice. But the overall package is not right and we will not stay here again.

For what looks like a high quality this lace disappointed. Took two days to call me back, by then I could not get into the spa. Room and ensuite was smaller than those chain hotels. Rain shower only with no shower caps for those precious ladies. At breakfast over cooked eggs and well under cooked sausage left a poor impression. Great shame

I have visited this spa on two occasions, both to celebrate birthdays. It is a very lovely albeit small spa. I would not book if you were in a small group as the chances are a larger group will be in at the same time. The facilities are nice and clean. The changing rooms could do to have a little more space. On the last visit my friends and I had a few drinks and had the afternoon tea. The drinks were lovely and a nice addition. The afternoon tea was nice but a bit more vegetarian variety would have been welcomed, as it really was just Brie sandwiches. The time before I came for the morning and had the breakfast-I would recommend the afternoon session more. My friends all had massages and said they were lovely. I had one booked but unfortunately as I have cancer they couldn’t do the trea**ent. This was handled sensitively by the therapists and I just poured myself another Prosecco instead. I would definitely recommend this ( if there was a group of 5 or more ) it’s great place to relax and have a catch up with friends. I will hopefully return again ! 🙌🏻😊💓
