The room is relatively large compared to other hotels in western countries. Because it is in the mountains, there is heating in the room, the mattress is well supported and clean. The view is unbeatable!

Although it is a bit far from the center of Chamonix, it is nice because it is quiet and offers a better view of the Alps. At first, I called a taxi to go to the accommodation (35 euros), but after that, I took a train called TER for 20 minutes. To pay the fare, simply show the ticket provided by the hotel where you are staying. It's free after all. Riding a mountain train is also a new experience. The hotel has a nice surrounding view, is clean, and is warm.
It's quaint and old-fashioned. The owner decorated it beautifully and the owner and his wife were very friendly. It looks cool too.
On the day of check-out, I had to take a night bus to Paris, and they took care of my luggage while I was going up to Chamonix, so I was able to travel comfortably.
If I go to Chamonix again, I will stay here again and it is a place I would recommend to people I know.

Last minute booking for a ski holiday in St Gervais.
25 minute drive to the ski gondola from the hotel.
Hotel staff absolutely fantastic.
Lobby area lovely with the heat off the big fire, games for the kids and the smell of Vin Chaud and fresh pancakes wafting!!
Rooms are an adequate size for a family of four with a fantastic view of the mountains.
Plenty of fresh towels for everyone.
Restaurant food very traditional and cheesy!!
Delicious and very reasonably priced.
Nothing negative to say about this wee gem of a hotel.
Dont know why its only a two star.

What a pleasure to have stayed in this haven of peace during this long weekend in May. We feel the professionalism and sense of welcome of the owners. We enjoyed everything, from the fire in the fireplace, the cocooning atmosphere, the varied breakfast. Our room was very tasteful, with a breathtaking view of the Aiguille du Midi. An experience to be repeated, without a doubt!

The hotel has very nice amenities and views, but the rooms are very small. Additionally, the pictures on ******* don't accurately represent the reality. It's important to double-check the room size before booking. The room you eventually get may not match what you saw in the pictures. I spoke to the staff about it, and they mentioned that ******* didn't put the correct pictures on their site. So, don't be surprised if you don't get the exact room you were hoping for.

The hosts and all the staff were very warm and friendly.
The shuttle service to and from the ski lifts and the train station made things so easy. Nice fireplace downstairs gives the Chalet a welcoming atmosphere.
It’s close to Chamonix, just jump on the FREE train, it’s only a few stops. Definitely a place to come back to .

We stayed in this hotel for a week of late season skiing in the area. Unfortunately, we did not have a car (minibus transfer from Geneva airport) and the hotel is a bit out of the village up a hill but when there the views of Mont Blanc are worth the walk. The hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the ski lifts so that was a great help to us all. The food was very good - great buffet breakfast and a high standard of evening meals. The room we had was spacious but was a bit lacking in wardrobe and drawer space however, was fine for a week of skiing. However, the standout feature was the friendly and helpful staff who were so good when we needed help in understanding the nuances of the area. They were all really great. Highly recommend for families but probably best if you have your own transport. Keen walkers or reasonably fit people will have no trouble with the walk to the hotel.

There is a super friendly atmosphere in this hotel. From the moment you arrive, the owners and employees do everything to make your life pleasant. The only downside is the rooms which are not very spacious. Otherwise, the rest of the stay (one week) will only be filled with pleasant surprises. We were in a room facing Mont Blanc, great... Breakfast is taken in a very bright room. Nothing is missing, from fresh fruit salads to succulent local jams and what can we say about delicious croissants! A hotel shuttle takes us to the foot of the slopes of Les Houches resort in less than 10 minutes. To return, a phone call and they will come pick you up. A room is available to customers to store skis and boots. The evening menu is displayed every day. A fireplace located on the ground floor invites you in the evening to have a drink before going into the restaurant room. Our stay was really very pleasant and certainly makes you want to come back. Thank you so much.
