A great country inn, the room is very cozy, the dinner and breakfast are very good, the staff are very enthusiastic, the chef's skills are very good, there are many guests who come to eat, and you can get close to the locals and local dogs.
In addition to delicious meals, there are four hiking routes that can be played during the day, so you can experience the British countryside

A lovely historic inn located near to the Ridgeway. My son and I were looked after with warmth and personal touches that made for a most comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms are cosy and clean, and the food is delicious. We highly recommend the Greyhound.

Nice balance between traditional pub atmosphere and bistro restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food with excellent menu choices (we had lunch and breakfast - out for dinner). Very comfortable rooms and off-street parking.

Friendly staff, small but comfortable quaint old room. Might be a bit difficult for those with mobility issues as quite a few stairs and low doorways in our particular room. Tasty dinner and good breakfast selection. Handy for walking the Ridgeway.

Professionally run friendly hospitable traditional pub with very good food towards the higher end of the price scale. Room size in keeping with age of property. Very clean. Also, the locals are friendly!

Unfortunately we could only stay in our beautiful room for only one night. Huge comfy bed, very quite and good facilities within the room. The staff are excellent and nothing is any bother. Good customer service. Well stocked bar and a good menu. We would travel here just for the breakfast. We will definitely return.

The Greyhound is everything a British Inn should be and rarely is....friendly, spotlessly clean, delicious food and well kept beer and a good wine list. The pride of the owner who is very much present is very apparent and fully justified.

What a great pub! Let's start with the drinks. FOUR real ales which rotate, so there's always a favorite around the corner - and very knowledgeable bar staff who can advise and provide tastes. The food was fantastic - the banquet on New Year's Eve was out of this world. The accommodation was very comfortable and we wish we had stayed longer. All of the staff were very friendly and very helpful. Very dog friendly. Last tip: the best thing of the whole stay was the brown toast at breakfast - out of this world.
