Wonderful stay at Rosleague Manor Hotel. Our room had a separate bedroom and sitting room with old world charm plus a modernized bathroom. Dinner in restaurant was amazing. Lovely grounds for a walk with views over the Bay. Staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Let me start by saying we have no big complaints and overall we enjoyed our stay in Rosleague Manor. I have found it tough to figure out what to say in this review. Having read the other reviews before going, I was expecting a lot, and given the price, I was expecting even more than a lot. The room was big / comfortable and the bathroom was modern, all very nice. The TV was a bit small considering distance from the bed, and due to stormy weather we had no reception until the morning we were leaving! There was a coffee machine we never used, but no kettle for the tea which was odd. There was no guidebook or info on the hotel or surroundings in the room, just some books and a bluebook hotel guide for 2024. We also had issues with the sockets, my phone charger tripped a large proportion of them on the first night, but I must say they did their best to sort it for us and it was working the next day! I also tried dialling the reception as instructed but the phone wouldn’t ring, just another small detail that was out of place. The dinner was nice. “Fine dining” is a stretch, and I was surprised given the very good reviews. The ingredients are clearly top notch, and the cooking of them is generally very good, but it’s very old fashioned in the dining room, very old fashioned menu and not what I would call fine dining. For example, the assorted veg that accompanies all main courses reminds me of a wedding. Service was good but not always great. We dined both nights, enjoying the second night much more, in the first night nobody cleared our desserts and after 30 minutes the French couple next to us got up and left (looking equally bemused as us) and so we followed - no offer of tea/coffee/petit fours and just the assumption the bill was being charged to the room - and no itemised food bill to review. I must say the lamb itself was delicious, and the menu did change a lot on the 2 nights so you can eat each night without it getting boring. Breakfast was fine, again I expected so much from the reviews, but it was really just fine. We did the little walk on the grounds because it was a stormy day and everything was closed nearby, and it is very nice. So, we had a lovely stay, and I suppose the tone of disappointment coming from my review is because the price is just far too high for what this is. 2 nights b&b + 2 nights dinner came to almost €800… for that price I just expected a lot more. If the price came down I would visit again in a heartbeat, but right now it’s just not justifiable.

Thank you Martin and your team for looking after us all so well for a weekend wedding. You could not have done more for us all. The Hotel, although more like one’s private country house, with views over the sea was just perfect. Wonderful local produce and seafood beautifully cooked by the chef, It was truly magical. Thank you.

We have returned from spending Three lovely days in Rossleague Manor Hotel with our boxer dog Sadie. Our room was large and had access to the garden. We eat each evening in the restaurant and food was of gourmet standard. The staff were so friendly and Made are trip so enjoyable

While many hotels claim to be dog friendly, Rosleague Manor genuinely welcomes your pet. Our little fella was welcomed everywhere in the hotel except for the restaurant, which is reasonable. The hotel is in a beautiful setting overlooking Letterfrack Pier, and the standard of accommodation and food was excellent. Mark Boyle is an attentive host, and you can feel the genuine interest in the guest that only comes from a family run hotel. I would definitely recommend.

The Rosleague is truly an old classic hotel that has a charm all it's own and is a very welcoming accomodation. The guest common sitting rooms are very inviting each with a roaring peat or wood fire. The daily breakfast buffet is very impressive complimented with a home cooked breakfast to order. We had a suite which was nice but, not exceptional as the pricing would suggest. Dining at the Rosleague is quite expensive but, the food at the manor is very good. The staff are very friendly and the resident doggie Bella is always there to welcome guests especially if you are willing to play. Overall while the Rosleague definitely has a unique charm, I can't help but think it may have overshot the mark in terms of pricing. That said, there are lots of great places to dine in Letterfrack and Clifden at reasonable prices for quality food.

Lovely venue but unfortunately the staff were not very welcoming. The Room was very cold. Food terrible. Pet friendly with lovely walks. Very disappointed as we were looking forward to a special few days away.

Situated just outside Letterfrack, Rosleague is a great base from which to explore along the Wild Atlantic Way. The house has two communal living rooms with open fires at the front, opening along a corridor to a conservatory which houses the bar. Here the evening's dinner menu can be perused, and orders are taken while drinks are served. The dining room is a magnificent space exuding real olde world charm. Tables are well spaced, and available on a first come-first served basis. The dinner menu uses the house's garden produce and most protein is local. The cooking is assured and quantities ample. Breakfast is served in the same location. Rooms are generous in size, well furnished, if a little dark. Everything one might expect of a quality manor house.
