The hotel is really stylish and I love this historical building. But their service is bad. After I checked in, I heard the staffs talking about my credit card and the bank of it. I don’t think it’s polite to talk about guests’ bank cards in front of them. And they didn’t tell me the door of hotel will be locked after 12pm, so I was locked outside feeling freezing. I tried to call them using the number they stick on the doorbell, but no one answered. That’s really a terrible experience.

Magnificent historic building in a prime location. In the center of town surrounded by the significant and impressive institutions, businesses and homes holding the history of the city. Among many attractive buildings only steps away.

This really is a historic building and it is literally in the centre of the city. This means that everything is right on the doorstep. There are loads of restaurants within a five minute walk. The rooms are modern and it feels a bit like a boutique hotel. When we arrived we were fumbling for the light switch and pressed some buttoms on a panel and the black out curtains opened. Once we had light we could see how the various things operated electronically. There was a really nice bean to cup coffee maker in the room, but the shelf it was on was quite high. We didn't eat in, the restaurant was closed on a Sunday, so can't comment on the restaurant. It turns out that parking is at a small discount in a public car park, which may only be 7 or 8 minutes walk away, but is further by car as the centre is all a pedestrian zone. (Although the cyclists would dispute that!)
