The shower did not for 3 days and the property refused to fix or accommodate a room change. We also expected a self catering accommodation however we only had a microwave. Trying to reach out to the property is near enough impossible as they do not answer the phone and the customer service is awful as we were promised a full refund and are still waiting on the property to get in contact with *******. Further more the toilet walls had condensation and damp everywhere in addition to not having an extractor fan meaning the bathroom smelled awful for the duration of our trip. Overall I was very disappointed in my stay and would not recommend anyone to stay at this accommodation.

The pictures shown here in the property description was farthest from the reality. The only thing which is good for this property is the central location. The price is decent. But then, with the very paltry facilities the property offers to the guest, there is no value for money. We stayed in this Smartflats Budget Louvan Central for 14 nights in Room #201 and the facilities were really, really appalling. 1. The room ceiling had large holes and there were water seepage from around them. Unacceptable! 2. The only 'kitchen' items in this apartment was a microwave oven and a refrigerator. There were no hot water kettle, no dishwasher, no hot plate, nor a coffee machine. So much for this property being called an 'apartment'! 3. The TV doesn't even power on. So what is it kept for? 4. There is no running hot water in the bathroom. So taking a bath in the frigid cold waters is almost a hypothermia inducing experience! 5. Reaching out to the Smartflats team over WhatsApp etc., doesn't work and complaints are not acted upon. The phone is never answered. I guess these guys are not bothered about guests and their 'comfort' . That's why by not hearing their complaints or acting upon them, guests are not being shown any respect or dignity. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Pull out bed was broken. Mattress was U-shaped and filthy. Floorboards had water come out from under them when toilet was flushed. Mold and water damage along skirting boards. Cement dust all over everything from construction in and around unit. Never seen a worse place to spend a night. Decided to stay in a hotel and owner did not grant a refund despite contact from third party vendor to do so. No phone number to contact anyone physically. Avoid at all costs

Upon arrival, I did not receive the access code to the apartment and had to phone to obtain it on a bank holiday. We were travelling with young children and this was a frustrating start to my stay, and I would have appreciated receiving this information in advance. The apartment lacked some basic facilities such as a dustpan to sweep up dirt. This made it difficult to maintain cleanliness during my stay. Additionally, I found that while the apartment had cooking facilities, the large windows could not be opened as the handle had been removed. This made it difficult to get fresh air into the apartment. The rest of the apartments in the building were undergoing renovations during my stay, which resulted in a lot of dust in the hallways. Despite these disappointments, the apartment was well-located in a lovely city. The location was convenient for exploring the city and accessing local amenities. However, I would hesitate to stay at this apartment again.

Avoid! How is this place still in business! I’ve stayed in better hostels for less money. Floor and facilities are clean but the rest of the room is falling apart and the walls are all very stained. Nightmare trying to get in due to codes not working. Also very late check-in times. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I booked this hotel before COVID on 04/202/200. I had to cancel due to COVID. They allowed me to use the voucher for 1 year. When I re attempted to use the voucher, they were non responsive. I had sent 4 emails in the span of 6 months. Still no response to this day. I attempted to resolve this directly with the hotel and through but again no response. we travel to Leuven every year, and this was our first and last time booking with them.
