Bed bugs, stay away! I recently stayed at hotel Malon in room 203. During and after my stay, I experienced numerous insect bites across various parts of my body that were exposed while sleeping. Upon closer inspection, I found little blood stains on the sheets, which, based on my past experiences and confirmation from a pest control professional, are indicative of bed bugs. I reported this to the receptionist upon check-out. The response I received at check-out was sympathetic but he said "pest control" comes every month and all is fine, so I must be allergic for something or bitten by (many!!) mosquito. With this review I hope the hotel will take this issue seriously for the sake of future guests.

I've got like 20 bites in a week (hands, legs,....). And never saw a single mosquito around. All the rest is not that bad. But these insects make the trip really "unforgettable". All day long I have the feeling with me :)

Fantastic location hotel, 1 minutes walk from the Bus and Train terminal. Located in a busy square of bars and restaurants.
Good selection of food for breakfast. Friendly staff, clean rooms and bathrooms.
Definitely recommend staying!!

We attended for a conference and the hotel is very convenient just opposite the train station and the bus station. The room was ok size wise and clean.
There no available plugs to charge the phone, we had to disconnect the table lamps.
The breakfast is ok if you are not fussy with your food.
In the last night of our stay there was a power cut at the floor level where we have been. Although they were aware of this, nobody came to fix the problem before we left the hotel. So no much light to see around.
Dear Hotel manager, please clean the stair well carpet, it is in a bad state.

I booked this hotel because I had to work in Leuven but would also see the city. For this it is NOT recommended. To have a late night sleep and party on the "martelarenplein" it could be a cheap acceptable stay. The rooms are ok and clean. Bathroom was good enough breakfast was nice to have (within the low price) and the personnel was friendly but: The room was far too warm and could not be cooled. There was no air-conditioning. Opening the window despite the noise at the "Martelarenplein" did not help to lower the temperature. Also opening the door to the hallway and set the fan in position 2 did not help. It still felt as if I slept above the kitchen oven.... also the kitchen smells were too good smellable in the room. The worst thing although was the noise comming from the restaurants and cafe's on the square. For a wednessday, not a national holiday or whatever, the music was far too loud and too late =＞ till after 2:00 AM .... I did not get a good night's sleep

Si te toca en el tercer piso y ya has escalado el Everest sin botella de oxígeno, bien . Si no preparate para una escalada de alto riesgo, sobre todo si te has tomado unas cervecitas. El desayuno normalito y la simpatía de en la recepción la de un restaurante de comida rápida, vamos vamos que nos vamos....
