The Inn at Lathones

A three night holiday to have a break, and stayed full board. Our room had a n great view towards the Firth of Forth. Accommodation was excellent. The food was excellent and varied every night. Well cooked, well presented, and delicious! The staff were exceedingly helpful, attentive and cheerful.

Lorna was extremely accommodating to two jet-lagged Canadians! Would definitely stay again. Just the kind of place we were hoping to stay after days in various big cities -- wish we'd had the appetite for dinner after arriving because breakfast was excellent. It's not fancy, but it's great.

Stayed as a last minute night away… owner and staff super friendly, couldn’t do enough for you. Very clean place. Food was amazing! Had the vegetarian burger and best I’ve ever had! Really tasty and well presented! Met the owner who was very friendly and helpful… Would highly recommend this place

Just home from a fantastic couple of nights at Inn at Lathones. Everything was perfect - food, drink, accommodation. Cherry on the top is the staff. So friendly and attentive. Bus into St Andrews is great with pick up just outside the hotel. Can’t wait to go back.

First went here September 23 when leaving my son up at University. So good going back March 24 for a weekend to celebrate a special birthday for a family member. Booked two suites. So excited to go enjoy this wonderful place again with its scenic views and pleasant staff.

Brilliant dinner, B&B stay at the Inn at Lathones. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Our superior double room was lovely, large, with a huge bathroom and it's own decking. Food was great - although the portions were huge. Also good location for exploring the East Neil of Fife

Booked and paid for accommodation at the Inn for the Ladies Open at St Andrews later in the year. After several months of holding my payment the booked cancelled without any explanation - truly appalling behaviour! Now forced to again seek suitable accommodation

From the minute I arrived at the Inn at Lathones I was made to feel very welcome by all the staff and this continued through out my stay. All staff were happy to chat and helped to recommend places to visit in the area. This hotel is in a great location for visiting St Andrews, Elie, Crail and many places on the Fife Coastal trail. We picked this hotel due to its location but also because it was dog friendly. Dogs are allowed in the bar area (not the restaurant) & my Westie very much enjoyed his sausage cooked for him each morning! On arrival my room was upgraded to one of the new modernised rooms which was beautifully decorated. The room was of a very high standard large and very well equipped with everything you need for your stay. My room even had a jacuzzi bath which was great to relax in after a day of exploring. We ate breakfast in the hotel each morning which has an extensive selection. We also ate dinner in the hotels bar several times in front of the log fires. There is quite an extensive menu & the food was very very good. We enjoyed our stay so much we will be back very soon .
