Premier Inn Lewes Town Centre

Noisy room, (101), friendly helpful staff, excellent breakfast, dinner as last resort - plenty of interesting restaurants in immediate vicinity.

Very clean, comfortable room and restaurant. The public car park is immediately to the rear which is handy. Impressed by the security and their excellent friendly staff

We arrived at the hotel at 2.35pm and was greated by the receptionist. I was advised check-in commences at 3pm but I can check in "early" for a £10 fee. I asked if the room was ready and was told yes. So I asked why I had to wait 25 minutes. I was told hotel policy....Pay the fee or wait. I have been to numerous hotels the world over and have never ever been told to wait until exactly 3pm before I can check in If out was 12pm or 1pm I could maybe understand the fee. BUT 2.35PM!!! Absolutely ridiculous customer service. The customer is the heart of the business. If the room was ready, where was the harm in letting us check in "early"

We stayed at the Premier In last year and we were so happy there that we decided to stay there this year again. The rooms are very spacious and the breakfast is really good as well. Children eat for free. You are right in the middle of the town center and in walking distance from Waitrose and a lot of restaurants. You can find all these things in other hotels as well, but and it’s a huge but the staff is without exaggeration the most friendly staff I have met in my life. Especially for a hotel like this. Sue, Carla, Ben,Monica, John and Gino were ever so helpful and made us feel so welcome. Every question was always answered with a smile and they gave us a lot of information about Lewes and what to do and where to go. Thank you again for your hospitality. You guys made our stay special ❤️

Wonderful stay. Thank you especially to Monika who cooked allergy free food and Soukayna who made our breakfast experience very positive and relaxed despite added demands of allergy diets in our party. Comfortable, clean rooms. Thank you

The hotel is in need of refresh. The rooms look tired and were not as clean as you would expect. We have stayed here many times as we have family in Lewes. The hotel remains reasonable value for money but if standards slip any further, we will stop using this hotel. The shower was poor as was the selection of coffees, two sachets of Nescafé for a two day stay. No water either. Disappointing overall

We stayed for one night. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Worth noting that the car park nearest the hotel is short stay only. After asking a staff member we relocated the car and parked it at the railway station which a ten min walk away. Would stay again for sure if the need arose.

I don’t like to write a poor review, but due to the thin walls and thin ceiling, these rooms are very noisy with the sounds of doors closing people moving about in the floor above, falling over next door. It does not offer a restful night. Apart from that, the rooms are comfortable and the staff friendly. Very poor wifi.
