Countryside Inn & Suites Omaha East-Council Bluffs IA

Beware, my windshield got a chip in it from the carelessness of their lawn care service and had to be replaced. I witnessed them cutting the lawn the morning we left and blowing the grass and apparently rocks into all the cars that were parked in the lot next to the grass. At that time, I just thought it was pretty stupid of them. As soon as we left the hotel and got on the highway, we noticed a crack in the windshield and as we drove, it quickly spread. My son and I witnessed the lawn care service cutting the lawn that morning and noticed how fast they were going and they were not using bags on the lawnmower. My car was right there, along with a dozen or so other cars, right where the lawn service was blowing grass and rocks. I contacted the hotel the next day and the person who answered admitted that their lawn care service is careless, and they actually move their own cars when the lawn is being cut. Management would not reimburse me for the replacement of my windshield. The windshield had to be replaced and could not be repaired. There was no chip or crack in my windshield when I arrived. They told me “you park there at your own risk”. I told them I have no problem with that, but common sense is that you don’t blow rocks into your customers cars!!

It was next to my work and it was clean and quiet and very easy to walk to work.

It was fine. Bed was clean and cozy, which is the most important part.

The only thing that I found that could be better is we got a room with a jacuzzi tub and when the jets started black stuff came out of them!

The room was updated, but the bed was uncomfortable. There was a wad of hair on the ground in the bathroom when we arrived. The fitness center is a joke, as the treadmill is out of order, the cable machine is barely usable, and there are a total of five dumbbells, not five sets. The breakfast was ok, but we were abruptly ushered out right at 9:00, while we were eating, so we brought our food to the room to finish. Just overall, unpleasant.

Wonderful stay. Great amenities for the price especially around the holidays. Hoping to stay again whenever we visit the family in this area!

Overall is okay. Didn't have the iron like it said it was supposed to.

Bed and pillows were too firm. Breakfast was very limited. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Stayed for one night when passing through. Rooms were small but clean & smelled very good. Quiet overnight. Very friendly & helpful staff. Walking distance to the Casey’s gas station next door. Breakfast was small & lacking a bit. Would stay again.
