I had booked Embassy Suites for a stay on my daughter's wedding day because Coldstream location was so close to the venue. When i checked in, I realized I had booked at the other lexington location and was so distraught, but Summer at the front desk was EXCEPTIONAL. So very nice, and she got my reservation moved - even saved me some money! Every time I needed something Summer was incredible. We had a perfect stay, wonderful breakfast and I will be back anytime i need to stay in Lex. Mostly because of your exceptional front desk personalities.

From the outside, this place looks amazing, and then even the lobby is nice. The hotel front desk employees were also very nice. However, the rooms are the most outdated rooms I have ever seen. The furniture is all 80's style furniture and gross. The amount of dirt on the chairs from the amount of use is nasty. The floors are also outdated carpet and not very nice. We would not even walk around the room barefoot. We found a random paintbrush in one of the sinks and one toilet had something in it like it wasn't flushed well. The kitchenette was just a fridge. All drawers had nothing in them so bring your own kitchen items if you plan to stay a while. The air conditioning was terrible, the room stayed very hot the entire time. We were pretty disappointed as we expected it to be much nicer than it is, especially for the price. We also expected a two-bedroom suite with a full living room and partial kitchen to be nicer. Either way, we probably will not stay at this location again unless they do a major upgrade.

We checked in at the hotel at 1 a.m. and asked the staff to give us extra 1 hr next morning to check out & they refused. We felt disappointed with the service so gave 3 stars. 😞
