Excellent service from staff . Afternoon tea was excellent , value for money and fantastic food. Definitely worth a visit. Beautiful building and the service was good . Food was fresh and had the choice of what sandwiches to have . 10/10 to all staff .

Afternoon tea was absolutely brilliant, staff and service was lovely too very accommodating. All the food was delicious, brilliant that they allow you to choose your sandwiches rather than being stuck with a load you don't want to eat. Everyone in the party enjoyed it

We happened across Farington Lodge by chance. My cars engine was problematic and so we parked up and call the RAC at 5.30pm. The Manager Paul and the Night Porter Peter were so kind and helpful. They let us camp out in the bar area until 1am and they supplied us with complimentary tea and coffee. The following morning Paul delt with the tow truck. I will be visiting them again in better circumstances. Thanks for being so wonderful!

Room was a little tired and needed updating, particularly the bathroom however the service, breakfast and overall stay was great.
