Lhasa Hotels with Breakfast

We stayed at the Shangri-la after a week of being in Tibet. It was a nice change from the more Chinese style hotels we had stayed in and was ideal for the night before our flight out. The rooms are great and we booked one with a bath. The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast buffet was, by Chinese standards, decent for western options and the evening buffer was good for approx 200rmb/person if you're in need of more western options. The big plus for me was the gym. Decent by most hotel standards and had a good mix of resistance machines, cardio and free weights (mainly dumbbells of up to 20kg plus a pair of 27.5kg). The only thing missing from the gym really is a squat rack but otherwise very good. Would stay again.

This is a must-stay hotel every year. It is very convenient to travel, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the service staff are warm and friendly. When parking in a controlled area, all you need to do is say hello to the police officer at the door and say you are staying at the Thangka Hotel.

I stayed at InterContinental again after three and a half years, and I feel that both the service and the quality of catering have improved a lot. The day before check-in, the housekeeper proactively contacted me and reminded me of various precautions, room facilities, etc. The front desk staff are also very friendly, enthusiastic and efficient; the breakfast is great. I didn't expect to eat good benedict and tsampa in Lhasa. The ingredients are also very fresh! Very satisfied.

The first five hours after arriving in Lhasa, there was no high fever. Thinking about it, the high fever was just like that. When the high fever came after five hours, it was very uncomfortable. Fortunately, the hotel had oxygen that saved my life, otherwise I would have had a headache at night and couldn't sleep at all. The hotel has convenient transportation, the Bu Palace and Jokhang Temple are nearby, and the lively streets are downstairs. There is floor heating and oxygen supply, no smell, and fruits are delivered every day. Once again, the service is very good. Xiao Zhuo, Dan Cheng, Qu Zhen, and Xiao An, whatever is missing will be made up for. One morning when I couldn't find scissors, the housekeeper got up in the middle of the night to help me find scissors. Thank you so much! Zezhuo, who serves the room, has to give a thumbs up. The sanitary service is top-notch and he folded our clothes for us. Such good service is worth a stay. It is recommended that the room's oxygen filling be communicated with the company and the frequency of oxygen replenishment be higher.

This hotel is really suitable for self-driving travel! This is my third trip to Tibet alone. I actually have no clear travel plan. I just want to find a hotel in Lhasa where I can sleep comfortably. I have stayed at their Potala Palace View Hotel before, and this time I want to try their self-driving hotel to prepare for future self-driving trips. What attracted me the most was the breakfast service in this hotel, which was served until 1pm, which was the main reason why I chose them. Because when I came to Lhasa this time, I just wanted to celebrate the New Year here alone and enjoy a leisurely life. Choosing a good hotel is so important. I hope that I can wake up naturally every day and have delicious food waiting for me when I wake up. I made up my mind to stay for five nights, and it turned out that my choice was right. As soon as I entered the room, the waiter told me that I could drink as much as I wanted from the drinks in the refrigerator. If there was not enough, they would add more for free. I basically slept until noon before having breakfast, then went back to the room to tidy up, and then went to the old town to hang out in the sun. It was so pleasant! What surprised me even more was that the hotel also sent fruits, snacks and dried fruit platters in the evening, which was so thoughtful! The environment of the hotel is also very good. I won't go into details about the other details one by one. All in all, I am very satisfied with this stay!

Every time I renew my room, it doesn't work after I update the room card at the front desk. This has happened several times. What the hell is this? After walking on the plateau, I couldn't get in at the door of the room; Then the water in the shower in the room is also very small.

It's especially good. It's very cheap in the off-season. Because I was afraid of the cold, I called the front desk in advance to help turn on the air conditioning and warm the room. The service was very good. I didn't refuse the hotel because of the low price in the off-season. There is a washing machine and dryer on the first floor, which is very convenient, and the room It’s not particularly dry inside. It has a humidifier and is quite comfortable. It was very comfortable on my first night in Lhasa. Because I was going out with a group, I booked accommodation when I came back from sightseeing. Then I could store my luggage. It was really good. It is recommended that family members with a lot of hair bring their own hair dryers and bring more facial masks!

The staff was very positive and enthusiastic and cooperated with the room upgrade. The hotel's transportation location is convenient. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Bu Palace and less than 2 kilometers to Barkhor Street. However, the three locations are in a triangle, which is a bit unfriendly to tourists like us who have a busy schedule. If you are a slow traveler, I still recommend this place. It is quiet, the parking lot is large, and the hotel is considered normal and meets the positioning. The most important thing is that it is very clean.

The environment of the hotel is quiet and comfortable, the price is high, and the Cantonese dishes are delicious downstairs. It is also very convenient to be close to the surrounding scenic spots. The lady at the front desk is also very nice and warm, a very satisfactory hotel, worth recommending
