Maolan Beibao Inn

Maolan Backpackers Hostel was the first hostel to open in the Maolan Nature Reserve. The owner was very capable; though over sixty, he looked only in his forties or fifties and was full of energy. He hiked 13 kilometers through the funnel-shaped forest during the day and took guests to see insects in the evening. He got up again at four in the morning to kill a chicken and prepare lunch for the guests. His two sons ran the Mountain Lodge Hostel and the Mountain Inn Hostel, respectively. We stayed at his place for two nights and ate at his sons' hostels both times.

The boss is very friendly and you can ask anything. The boss lady makes breakfast in the morning. The room is a little small, it's hard to book a room, it's fully booked

The room is clean, the service is first-class, the native chicken cooked by the boss is very delicious, I asked the boss to be my guide for two days, and I saw the real primeval forest. It was a great experience

The toilet was so smelly that it was unacceptable to stay here. When we got to the room, it was not cleaned and we were so late that we couldn't check out! The windows were not closed tightly and mosquitoes flew in. I stayed inside for a while at noon and couldn't stand it and left immediately.

Clean and hygienic. It is particularly worth mentioning that taking a bath is very comfortable, with large water and high temperature! The surrounding environment is very good. It is near the Five Eyes Bridge.

This store is located in the center of Maolan, convenient to everywhere. The boss also acted as a guide and took us to the funnel forest. You can dry clothes upstairs. Another branch can do laundry.

這家店離五眼橋走路600多米，是店家自建房，無電梯，標間在3樓，我們到酒店那天沒有什麼住客，標間有兩種房型可以選，一種房型大點，一種小點。衞生間洗澡的水有點小，洗手枱水大，無毛巾和浴巾，要自己帶，店主還有別的設施好點的房子，在旁邊的酒店，價格要貴些，沒有拍民宿照片，放幾張茂蘭旅遊照片，我們去探洞老闆借了我們頭燈，老闆人很好

老闆非常nice，淡季入住提供了很多方便

衹能説一分錢一分貨，做的最好的是國慶期間價格也不高，不過硬件條件確實有限，衞生整體上還算乾淨，不能預期太高。
