It's a very historical hotel. It's directly in the amusement park area. It's very close to Thomas Land. The room is pretty good, but it's far away from supermarkets and the like. It takes 5-10 minutes to drive. There is a restaurant in the hotel where you can eat.

The hotel is average, but it is worth it to enter the playground early the next morning Sleeping together with the children can handle a little bit. There is no convenience store near the hotel. It is recommended to buy delicious and drinkable water when you go. The ordinary water sold in the hotel is more than 2 pounds, which is not worth it. The location is relatively remote and there is only one restaurant. I brought my own noodles and cooked them in my room! It takes about 20 pounds and 15 minutes to take Uber from Birmingham International. By the way, there will be discounts for online booking of tickets for the park in advance, and you can enter the park at 10:00 in advance (the gate opens at 10:30). When we went, there were not many people. It took more than 2 hours to play all the facilities in the children's area. The children swiped the roller coaster three times. It was worth the fare.

Went here with a dirty posh bird I met at work gig, someone big in the knickers world - so we wouldn’t get caught having it off by anyone we knew. Nobody would have an affair in a Tommy Tank hotel with a well know felon would they? I mean seriously!

Hotel struggled to find my booking.
Found red lipstick on my coffee mug in the room in the morning- we don’t wear lipstick, made everything feel grubby and used, the sink could have done with a good scrub.
Room didn’t have the extras described, toiletries/slippers/robes etc
Was told on the booking the room was without meals and later found out they were included.
The vibe of the hotel was lively, they had a great set up for kids with a lovely lit park and gardens, very enjoyable stay regardless.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful. The rooms were nice and so was the cafe and bar area. There were a couple of negative things. One thing in particular is I’ve never stayed anywhere with such cheap toilet paper didn’t even know you could get it that thin. Definitely a lot cheaper than the normal pound land or value ones. Also the breakfast was buffet style with the food being lower quality than most hotels. These two things are a shame in an otherwise nice hotel.

Food, Drink and Activity stalls (…throw ball into box, etc) were outrageously expensive. So many families lugging bags around to avoid overpriced food, etc. Payment to play stall games was far too much as well as being loaded against the children so they had next to no chance of winning anything. Overall, a nice theme park which is spoilt by greed of owners/vendors who seem to just want to take advantage of visiting children/families.

The Hotel is focused on the kids expectations and requirements - room, food, entertainment. My 10 y.o. son and his friend every day played mini-golf and used outdoor playground, Friendly staff and tasty food - breakfast, dinner buffet all was of the high quality.

Amazing overnight stay on the stay and play. From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were welcomed by the warmest of welcomes. We had booked an executive double room of which was lovely, extremely clean, very quiet, and incredibly comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant in the evening and was served by Jess D (hopefully that is correct) who showed amazing customer service and went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with our meals. Again, breakfast was well orchestrated and provided a good selection. I would certainly be recommending to stay here and I will certainly be returning. Thank you for your hospitality.
