It's a very historical hotel. It's directly in the amusement park area. It's very close to Thomas Land. The room is pretty good, but it's far away from supermarkets and the like. It takes 5-10 minutes to drive. There is a restaurant in the hotel where you can eat.

The hotel is average, but it is worth it to enter the playground early the next morning Sleeping together with the children can handle a little bit. There is no convenience store near the hotel. It is recommended to buy delicious and drinkable water when you go. The ordinary water sold in the hotel is more than 2 pounds, which is not worth it. The location is relatively remote and there is only one restaurant. I brought my own noodles and cooked them in my room! It takes about 20 pounds and 15 minutes to take Uber from Birmingham International. By the way, there will be discounts for online booking of tickets for the park in advance, and you can enter the park at 10:00 in advance (the gate opens at 10:30). When we went, there were not many people. It took more than 2 hours to play all the facilities in the children's area. The children swiped the roller coaster three times. It was worth the fare.

Went here with a dirty posh bird I met at work gig, someone big in the knickers world - so we wouldn’t get caught having it off by anyone we knew. Nobody would have an affair in a Tommy Tank hotel with a well know felon would they? I mean seriously!

Hotel struggled to find my booking. Found red lipstick on my coffee mug in the room in the morning- we don’t wear lipstick, made everything feel grubby and used, the sink could have done with a good scrub. Room didn’t have the extras described, toiletries/slippers/robes etc Was told on the booking the room was without meals and later found out they were included. The vibe of the hotel was lively, they had a great set up for kids with a lovely lit park and gardens, very enjoyable stay regardless.

The hotel is ideal for a visit to Drayton Manor theme park. The staff are friendly and helpful. A good breakfast is included and the restaurant is very good for an evening meal. The grounds are lovely and the whole experience is relaxing. There is evening entertainment for children and it is just a 5 minute walk to the theme park entrance. The theme park itself has a lovely a**osphere with plenty of family rides as well as white knuckle rides and of course the zoo.

Amazing stay from walking in. The reception staff Laura and Charity were exceptional. The room was spotless and food was good. Great stay. Would recommend to family and friends. Also great advantage to be able to wander around the park to get your bearing if it is your first visit

I’ve emailed twice over a month ago and they haven’t replied to me. We’ve just returned from an overnight stay at your hotel on the 3rd-4th April. We arrived midday and picked up our tickets from reception. The lady was very helpful and said to come and collect our key when we get back from our afternoon at the park. We were staying in a Thomas room and the kids absolutely loved it. We were celebrating a birthday and decided to get a special room for a treat. We were shocked to see that you were offering opened blankets for £20 when we could have bought new ones in the park for £14!! What a con!! We had a lovely meal in the brassiere. The waitress was attentive and friendly and the food was tasty. Breakfast was also great and check out was easy. Unfortunately this is where our good experience ended. We arrived at the park for 10 to access the 30 minutes of rides before the gates opened to the masses. When we were let in the rides at the front of the park we’re all closed with no staff to be seen and ropes across the queues. We thought maybe we had misunderstood and maybe only Thomas world opened early, so we rushed there. When we got there it was the same. No rides were open. We found Rusty walking around and asked him why no rides were open and he said that as far as he know they opened soon when the staff for each ride arrived. It was about 10:10 and Terence driving school opened. We wanted to go on troublesome trucks so we waited by the rope at the start of the queue. There was no one to be seen and a long queue started to form behind us. It got to about 10:20 and 3 or 4 more rides started to go but still no sign of any staff at our ride. At 10:30 someone arrived and a test run was done. By 10:35 they opened the queue and let us in. This is shocking! What a waste of our time! It felt as though it was a massive con to try and get you out of their hotel early. We rushed our breakfast and left our lovely Thomas room to get there for rope drop at 10, only to be waiting by another rope for 35 minutes- which we could have just done at the entrance! This is not how you should treat your customers. Other parks that advertise early entry actually open their rides and have staff arrive on time! At lunchtime we were told they had ran out of all pasta in sodor cafe so we went to the burger cafe nearby. This was an absolute tip! Overflowing bin surrounded by brown rubbish bags, which were also all over the middle high table making it a dumping ground and unusable. We ordered 3 burger meals and waited 45 minutes for the food to come out! There was only about 3 people waiting in the restaurant so I can’t imagine what took them so long. It was like no one knew what to do and it was everyone’s first day. It is unacceptable to have to wait that long for food and not to be warned first of the wait. My final complaint is the fast pass system. We went back to the troublesome trucks to use our passes. There was about 10 people in the fast pass queue. We watched
