Non smoking all over the location is a great improvement.
Cleaning cart creates a big noise around the windows.
The mattress is moving around.

I need to stay at this hotel for a business trip. This is my first time staying at this hotel. It’s good value for money. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The guest rooms are also good. I like the clean and tidy facilities. The breakfast at the hotel is good. I’ll make another appointment next time!

The room is opposite the elevator entrance, so it's a bit noisy with people coming and going. The facilities are relatively old.

The rooms and the grounds were clean and comfortable, but the service wasn’t great. I always expect noise with external corridors, but it wasn’t guests or traffic, the staff was SO loud and not mindful. I was also working for until 4 am house keeping knocked on my door THREE times before I left, which was not even an extended check out. I put the privacy magnet on the door. When I was checking out, the staff member didn’t ask how my experience was either.

We had to scramble to find a hotel when our flight was canceled. Everything near the airport was sold out and it was getting late. I finally found availability here & booked it. When we arrived, I was a little concerned to see that the rooms opened to the outside instead of a corridor... but the surroundings looked ok and the desk clerk was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable and we thought it was very quiet overall. Loved the pillows by the way. Breakfast was good with many options to choose from. We were pleasantly surprised to find real grits done just right! At checkout, Linda (the morning desk clerk) was just charming and we enjoyed talking to her while waiting for our Uber to the airport. If(when) we get stuck at JFK again, we'll just book this property and not worry about the others. Thanks again BW Mill River Manor!

The accomodations were clean, cozy, and comfortable. The continental breakfast is among the best I have ever had at a motel and truly lived up to the Mill River Manor name.
