Great location, food was really nice, staff friendly, rooms outdated but we only stayed a night so was fit for purpose.

So close to town no need to drive. Good caravan park. Friendly staff at hotel. Restaurant was busy but meals were served in good time. Take away available with daily specials. Opposite markets and tourist information, can walk to shops and opal sellers.

Arrived with our caravan for a 3 day exploration of lightening ridge. Reception staff were very kind and helpful. Clean utilities block. Showers toilet and laundry. Spaces a little narrow however drive through so easy access in and out. Highly recommended

The amazing reception staff nothing was an issue, the pub and its food good. Laundry facilities easy to use. Great location for walking distance to what we needed. We were in a motel room, although there were plenty of caravans out the back on powered sites

Caravan park has no dump site, have to travel 1 kilometre to empty. No grey water drainage point, water was running on the ground. Clothes dryer was intermittent, worked only occasionally. No security, the community mainly indigenous people used showers and toilets . We paid $45 per night for not a lot. Toilet and showers need a very big makeover.

Rooms were comfortable but need an extremely good clean, cob webs, definitely skirting board, toilet roll fell off. Friends also stayed in caravan park, the amenities were filthy, very poor laundry facilities for the size of the park. Bistro also closed. Would recommend staying across the rd at the crocodile caravan park, grassy areas to park, absolutely massive laundry & a brilliant camp kitchen (just my opinion) & definitely cheaper.

The location was excellent, close to everything & the bistro was good too but would suggest some money being spent on the amenities block. It was clean but about 50 years out of date & numerous repairs needed to be carried out.
