Staying at the Lemon Tree Resort Hotel in Lijiang Old Town was a delightful surprise and a truly therapeutic experience during my trip. The location is a perfect blend of quiet and convenience; just a few steps out and you're on the bustling cobblestone streets, while closing the door brings you into a serene courtyard with lush greenery and gentle light. It's ideal for slowing down and simply relaxing. The room was spacious and comfortable, with soft bedding that made for a great night's sleep. The soundproofing was excellent, offering a much-needed sense of relaxation after a long day. Attention to detail was evident: the bathroom and toiletries were top-notch, and the room was filled with natural light. The window view overlooking the courtyard was particularly uplifting. The butler service was thoughtful yet unobtrusive, and the breakfast was authentically local. Spending an afternoon sitting in the courtyard, soaking up the sun with a cup of tea, perfectly encapsulated the laid-back vibe Lijiang is known for. There's no need to rush to tourist spots here; simply unwinding in this hotel felt like the essence of travel itself.

The hotel's ambiance is fantastic, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a beautiful aesthetic. The large water wheel in the center is particularly striking, perfectly complementing the iconic landmarks of Lijiang Old Town. I booked a family room, and it truly lived up to the hype: incredibly spacious, with very comfortable beds and all the in-room amenities carefully chosen. The owner proactively contacted me with directions, which was a very thoughtful touch. We even made it back just in time for afternoon tea. All in all, I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Lijiang.

The hotel is right near the Big Waterwheel! It's super convenient as taxis can drop you off right at the intersection. The butler service was excellent! The front desk even had a self-serve fruit bar. The complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast were quite tasty too. And they have a Dyson hairdryer! That's a huge plus.

In your free time, you can sip tea and sunbathe in the courtyard, or watch the ancient city lights from the terrace. It's a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, offering an immersive experience of Lijiang's slow pace of life. Once you're here, you'll never want to leave!

This hotel is located within the ancient town scenic area, about a seven to eight-minute walk from Sifang Street. Its location is excellent, being only a one to two-minute walk from the main road outside the scenic area. If you stay for two nights, they offer a complimentary airport/station pickup or drop-off service. The hotel arranges for a car to take you right to the hotel entrance, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel's interior is clean, tidy, and elegant. The rooms are well-equipped and quite clean. The staff established a WeChat group for free service and quick responses. Overall, I'm satisfied and would recommend staying here.

This Lijiang Ancient Town gem of a high-end guesthouse offers an absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm begonia fruit tea, freshly baked flower cakes, and fresh fruit – a truly thoughtful welcome. The afternoon tea drinks were exquisite, highly recommended; and the breakfast spread was abundant and very satisfying. The common areas are spacious and grand, featuring two elegant tea rooms, a must-visit for tea lovers. The butler and front desk staff provided continuous smiling service, attentive, thoughtful, and always ready to help. Staying here in Lijiang is definitely the right choice, I genuinely recommend it!
