Popular Lijiang 4-star Hotels

Just right outside the North gate of LiJiang ancient city, high price to value ratio…. Can take cab to the front door of hotel and don’t need to carry luggage inside the bumpy road of the ancient city. Room is spacious amidst it is next door to the popular tourist spot.

What a pleasant stay, breathtaking scenery and spectacular food options! The hotel is not that close to the airport, however it does make for a quieter stay. It’s located close to most attractions and restaurants which is a major plus. The staff are definitely welcoming and the hotel for sure foreign friendly. This was my 3rd time staying in this chain and I have to say everything was in place. The carpets, bedding, linens and couches were clean. I was surprised by how spacious our room was for the price I paid. The food was delicious for sure and as usual you had plenty to choose from. If I was to nitpick, maybe the cutlery and milk could more often be topped up, and the shower door was leaking slightly but this is just me being a ‘Karen’. WHope you all also have a wonderful stay here too.

I stayed at Lijang YueJiaren•White Horse Luxury Homestay for two nights. Pre request for the best view of the lijang and yulong snow mountain. Upon arrival, there is a bit difficult for communication because I don't have a China mobile phone. We couldn't find the hotel, we asked for help from one of the hotel, and they came to pick us up and carried our luggage for us. After we arrived, we got the best view of lijang and yulong snow mountain, we have been served with tea; additional arranged dai Shan as our tour guide. He showed us the ancient city, helping us for photography and planning our trip. The other staff also helped my friend with her luggage arrangement for the return flight. They are serving us nicely. I would definitely recommend it to anyone if you ever go to Lijang. P.S. The rooftop is one of the best spots for photoshoot.

The name of the whole store makes you feel it is very classy and a bit fairy-like. Then, seeing so many good reviews, I booked it out of curiosity. As a result, the service was really amazing, from the front desk reception, the housekeeper, to the sisters who greeted you with a smile in the restaurant in the morning, to the sisters who worked in the guest rooms. The atmosphere of the whole store was very good. The smiling service and greetings were done to the extreme. There were people caring and greeting you everywhere. Then, according to the person in charge, every brick and tile, every blade of grass and every piece of furniture in the store, including every piece of furniture in the room, are the ingenious works of the manager. They are indeed made with great care, and living there is full of love and care. This store is really in great shape. Everyone feels at home when they enter, and they are reluctant to leave. I look forward to returning to Lijiang in the future to meet everyone in this store again and feel their family-like care!

I really liked this hotel. Room was lovely and beautiful and a nice cute walk into the old city. We had so many bags and they came with a little cart to carry them for us. Also because we stayed many nights they took us for free to the airport. We would totally stay here again. Now that said I had 1 problem. We were here in summer and it got quite hot in the room. We were on the top floor and the sun hit the roof and really heated things up. I couldn’t get it cold enough to be comfortable even with the air conditioner. In the future I would choose a room not on the top floor or only visit this hotel in non-summer months. Otherwise it was perfect!

This is excellent chinese traditional hotel for people who want to see the top of view of Lijiang old town. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are high quality. The hotel is located a little bit on the mountain closed to large water wheel the landmark of Lijiang oldtown. The breakfast we had was special noodle yunnan food which was different than normal buffet we had in other hotel. Mostly of hotel staff can speak english well and warmly welcome especially from Mr.Jimmy. I’m very impressed that the hotel helped us took our luggage up to the hotel when we had a Jade Dragon Snow one day tour and sent us to railway station after checking out. I will be returning guest in the future for sure. Thanks for the experience and make me feel like I’m in the chinese movie who feel and touch the environment in the past.

One of the best stays I had in China ~ Facilities were cosy and very clean; the staff were also extremely welcoming, very accommodating and eager to provide guidance on exploring Lijiang (I do really want to highlight that Bivou has a huge list of self organised tours and various workshops, making it a one stop place for your Lijiang travels!). As a big plus, the onsite bivou cafe also provided a decent mix of very tasty local / international food. Not forgetting to mention that it is located at the heart of Shuhe Ancient Town, making it a very convenient spot for you to travel around to various local attractions and enjoy local delicacies.

The hotel is located in the old city in a short distance from the exit to the new city.It was convenient for the bus parking and to deliver the luggage to the hotel.There is quite big supermarket across the street in the new city. There is also a lovely restaurant of delicious food just across the street there.Higgly recommend!!The hotel breakfast is simple,but nice= porridge,spicy sauce, pancakes,tea, watermelon If you decide to have some tea in the afternoon,the reception boys will make a tea ceremony for you right there..in the company of an absolutely gorgeous dog who is more than friendly and greets everyone!! Отель находится в старом городе недалеко от выхода в новый= удобно для парковки автобуса и доставки багажа в отель.Прямо через дорогу в новом городе = довольно большой супермаркет и чудесный ресторан с отличной кухней.Очень рекомендую!! Завтрак в отеле довольно простой,но вкусный: можно заказать кашу= суп,выбрать острый соус по вкусу,у нас был арбуз,блинчики,чай.Если кто-то захочет чай днём,то гостеприимные ребята с ресепшн устроят вам чайную церемонию прямо в ресепшн, в компании роскошного пса,который более,чем дружелюбно приветствует всех входящих в отель...

The hotel as a whole has a great sense of design. It offers a free upgrade to the Starry Sky Room and free breakfast for three people. The waiters are very enthusiastic and provide free laundry service. The cafe downstairs is said to be ranked first in Lijiang. Both the room and the cafe have a direct view of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Coffee and drinks are free for you to drink. What's especially good is that breakfast can be eaten at any time from 7:30 in the morning to 8 o'clock in the evening. There are evening snacks and supper that are free and especially delicious. It is a good place to relax and I will definitely stay there next time.

Our first trip to Lijiang, and what a memorable experience! Our host contacted us and helped to arrange pick up from train station and treated us to a tea tasting when we arrived. She also gave us a room upgrade and it had the best view of the Snow mountains and Lijiang old town! There are many eateries and shops near the hotel, its a small walk downhill to the main ancient town! She also gave us recommendations for places to visit and was so helpful! Definitely staying here again whether its with friends or my wife for sure! Thank you Xinsu for the love!
