Limerick Township Hotels with Gym

We are always happy with Hampton Inns and this one was no exception. It was clean, front desk staff was friendly and helpful, plenty of parking even with a fully booked hotel. The pool was a particular treat because we’ve typically gone into indoor pool areas and are blasted by the smell of chlorine which we find irritating to nose, eyes and skin at high levels, but this pool (and the pool at another Hampton Inn that we’d stayed at the week before) didn’t have the uncomfortably strong chlorine smell. Yet the water was clean. We wondered if they’ve started using other water cleaning compounds such as salts (as we use in our hot tub). Anyway, a great visit from start to finish.

Location is good with stores, restaurants, and roads nearby. Staff is nice but rooms are only average. They are very dated and the furnishings are not in best of shape but ok. Breakfast was very good. My biggest complaint is that my room was never touched during a two night stay. No one made the beds, emptied the trash cans, vacuumed the floors or even entered the room. The second day I left a tip on the ”welcome note” left in the room when we left at 10AM and it was still sitting there when we returned a little past 9PM. That confirmed that no one had entered even though there was plenty of time to have cleaned the room. W were tired and leaving next morning so we did not bother complaining and having to wait while someone cleaned the room.
