Huckleberrys Bar & Grill

Manager Di very pleasant and welcoming. Kept us updated with how to get into the property and room. Location excellent, central to Lincoln and within easy walking distance castle and cathedral. Plenty of eateries and shopping around, Huckleberrys bar is quite olde worlde, lovely atmosphere and Di plays some retro tunes. Probably en-suite could do with updating but thats me being picky. Plenty of hot water and adequate showering facilities. Clean towels daily, can’t fault the service. Would definitely go back and stay again

We received a very warm welcome from the staff. Lunch was delicious and the staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, even allowing us to book into our room early . The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. We were able to park in the hotel car park and the location was perfect for walking around Lincoln. We were even kindly allowed to leave our car parked there on the Sunday once we had booked out of the hotel. The staff there were exceptional. We will most definitely be coming back .

Great location for the theatre. Slept well even in the heat, fan in the room We ate here and it was very nice Free parking at rear of pub a bonus

Di was great at communicating and lovely to meet. The rooms are a bit tired and I asked for a quiet room with a bath but got a room on the front (which is noisy due to taxi station across the road) and the bath had a hand-held shower head! Tea and coffee facilities were an afterthought. Bonus was the 4/5 parking spaces at the back which is a great thing in the centre of Lincoln but as the restaurant was closed on the nights I stayed I reckon when it's open you will struggle to get one. No breakfast so £70 a night is probably a bit much for what you get. There are better places to stay in Lincoln for sure

Fantastic location, super easy walk to all shopping, eating and The Steep Hill, the infamously heart starter walk up to the Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathederal. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was large with a lounge and was nice and warm.  I would be happy to book the Huckleberry again  if in Lincoln.

This is the second time staying here . Perfect location and great place to stay , close to city centre . Staff are so friendly. Room was perfect very spacious. Bed was massive . Thank you for having us

First impression it could do with make over every where seened tired sticky to touch. Room was large but basic no shower, but could look past that. But local good for bars, club and restaurants. Also free parking one site. However at midnight the fun began the noise outside was horrendus shouting swearing we had no sleep from midnight till five am then we had a dog crying and someone trying to use a key safe very loudly. Tried to have a bath in the morning, water very hot but cold came out as a trickle had to use the kettle to filter Cold water from basin. On the plus side bedding was lovely and room warm and comfy.But unfortunately WOULD not be returning. Will definitely book alternative.

We have just stayed for a night. Perfect city centre location with parking. We were made to feel very welcome by Di and the staff in the restaurant. The room had all the amenities needed and was well presented. We ate an evening meal in the restaurant, which was delicious (chicken wings, Slow cooked Brisket, Boss Hog Burger and Dirty Mac...yum). The bar had a great atmosphere and they played some great tunes. Would definitely visit again. Many thanks
