Just back from a weekend in Lincoln (part work, part pleasure). I had a lovely stay in the Castle Hotel - Stayed in a great room, the Franklin. all the staff were welcoming, had a smashing dinner in the Reform Restaurant. Very relaxing - thanks to everyone!

Due to stay this evening. After some very difficult time just lately we decided to just get away we tried so hard to get online to book but due to poor signal I rang and spoke to a lovely gentleman called Jay. Even over the phone it was difficult for us to hear each other but he was so patient and even when the phone kept cutting out with alot of topping and growing we finally managed to get a room booked. If this is the standard of the customer service I can’t wait for this much needed break. Thank you Jay.

What an amazing experience staying at the Castle Hotel. The location was perfect as it was right across from Lincoln Castle which made walking to major sites easy. Our room was clean and spacious. The service was excellent. The beds comfortable and the breakfasts in the morning tasty. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful.

Very centrally located. Smallish room and shower room, no air con and it was a hot day so a bit stuffy. Had to ask for a hairdryer. Complimentary tea coffee and biscuits in the room. Breakfast basic continental but lots of cooked options. Service friendly. Parking available at the hotel.

We stayed here on our wedding night and the room was that touch of glamour we needed. We stayed in the Tennyson suite. Great shower, only thing I would say was the duvet was a tad heavy. Fireplace display effect heater gave a nice relaxing feel. Breakfast was nice too. We were a little put off by the cleaners waiting outside our room to clean it and at one point, knocking to see if we were leaving to clean, at least an hour before our check out time, but all in all, a nice stay.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, dinner, and breakfast were both delicious. It's also within walking distance of most of historic lincoln so you don't need to drive around. Highly recommended.
