We had a wonderful stay at Kloten with our 2 children (4 and 6). Our cabin (we had to book a 3 bedroom one as the 2 bedroom ones were fully booked) was spacious and comfortable and the site is just beautiful. Directly outside our cabin was a rope which you could climb down (our son loved this!) to a little playground (just a couple of tyre swings) and then walk down to the lake beyond. On the way you went past wild raspberries to pick. We ate in the restaurant one night which was nice and hired a rowing boat on the lake (where we saw fish eagles) and went to the games room which had pool, table tennis and table football as well as colouring for the really young ones. We also had a BBQ at the communal BBQ down by the lake one evening which was particularly magical. We would thoroughly recommend Kloten with children. You do need a car as the nearest supermarket is a 30ish minute drive away in Kopparberg but the supermarket when you get there is good. We also did a moose safari from Nordic Adventures up the road and saw 6 moose! My only complaint about Kloten was when we had to pay to use the tennis court - I thought that could be included - otherwise, great - we loved it!
