Amazing home! Spotless. Spacious and very comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast. And Nina takes hosting to a new level. Absolutely faultless. Will definitely return. A great privilege to stay in this home as Nina described the BMW view - bridge, mountain, water! So true

Nina is amazing and her touch of detail on every corner cannot be spoken enough about. I can not imagine a better person to manage this historical house. Beautifully clean and organized. Amazing freshly baked rolls too!

A great look for a bit of history, built in 1909. Formerly owned by a son’s British convict John Pearce. I took my daughter here for 2 nights stay to experience a more than century old Heritage hotel at Hobart, Tasmania! Pauline, the owner was so hospitable and really lived up to what “Orana” means in Aboriginal word, means “Welcome!” - and we were welcomed, the Tasmanian, Australian way!

Pauline was the perfect hostess. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious and had beautiful views of the large garden. Any request made was met with a smile and attended to immediately. You had full use of the loungerooms and gardens. The breakfast was delicious and "moorish".

A wonderful and relaxing place to stay. So close to Hobart and Pauline makes you feel very welcome. There is so much attention to detail here and I appreciated the cup of tea and homemade biscuits that were served on arrival…

Pauline was great 👍 excellent room, plenty of space. Free use of any of the rooms. Breakfast was great, thank you Pauline 😊 if we come to Tasmania, we'll definitely stay here. Loved it. Loved the chamber pot in the fire place....John Pierce room.

Clean comfortable and breakfast All that a good Bed and Breakfast should be. Great views and a good walk to shops and the water. 8-10 min drive to center Hobart, access to Uber if needed. Host Pauline runs a great Bed and Breakfast, we will return when next in Tasmania

Pauline and Nina were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Pauline even put my washing in the dryer and delivered my clothes to my bedroom, while we were out sightseeing. Breakfasts were delicious and varied. Pancakes with berries and chocolate sauce were my favourite, Beds were comfortable and rooms were warm and well appointed. The house is beautiful. It is like stepping back in time. The gardens are spacious and it has great views of the Derwent Bridge. We are looking forward to returning and being spoilt again.

Host Pauline makes you feel like you live here. We stayed several nights in May and it was wonderful. Special treats at breakfast, homemade biscuits available 24/7. The House is perfectly appointed and so comfortable. Parking is easy. Highly recommend and we'll be back.
