Decent sized room, reasonably priced. Although we didn’t have dinner there (attending a concert which ended much later than the dinner service), the option was available.
Comfortable beds and pillows, bathroom had a generous sized walk in shower (very easily accessible for visitors with limited mobility.
Although other guests had alleged issues regarding the renovation works, we were fortunate that this didn’t affect our stay. The hotel appears to have taken onboard earlier reviews mentioning tired decor - we can attest to the fact that the hotel are implementing some significant improvements.
Friendly and welcoming staff.
Would love the opportunity to return and see more of the area.

An old but classy hotel. I was very comfortable during my 4 night stay and plan to go again. Delicious breakfast.
Good price. Hot water bath. Warm radiator. Cleanliness is all good. Highly recommended.

This is not a 4 star hotel. It’s a rather dated place and needs a refurb. The rooms are basic, no hot drink facility, no hand soap in bathroom, thin towels, old musty smelling carpet, small TV, doubled was two singles pushed together, no iron or ironing board. Service somewhat hap-hazard, dinner menu uninspiring but food was edible, breakfast buffet underwhelming. No bar unless you sit in the dining room, no atmosphere to speak of. Pool is OK. Location is a nice forested area and seemed popular with elderly couples. Not a place I would use again.

De omgeving (bos) was prachtig, ook het uitzicht van de kamer was prachtig.
Het zwembad was simpel maar genoeg om even fijn plezier te hebben.
Jammer dat er geen koffie of thee-facilities waren in de kamer.

Negatief: wat spinnenwebben op het plafond en de gordijnen sluiten niet goed.
Maar een echte aanbeveling om de benummering in de lift aan te passen. Op borden staan alle kamers en levels maar die corresponderen niet met de knoppen in de lift. Wel lachen om met een stel mede logeerders de kamers en levels te zoeken.
Verder was de bar en het eten prima. Ontbijtbuffet ook erg goed. En heerlijk gezwommen. Dus een aanrader.
